Hi there, I'm Brian. Do you miss feeling on track and working towards your goals? Are you not connecting with those you felt close to, such as your best friends, significant other, or family? Do things just feel a bit off and you need some guidance to get back to being "you"? I meet the client in their environment and empower them to help themselves. A holistic approach to therapy is used, pulling from several different therapeutic beliefs. Every client is different and unique, and therefore the approach to healing follows this same path. We'll discuss your goals up front to know which to direction to work towards, and help you discover new things about your healing and coping along the way. Every person's struggle matters. Therapy is not about gauging whether someone is weak or strong, but building on their already existing strengths to help them find healthy ways to help themselves. Therapy is about discovery. In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is focused on building rapport and beginning to form goals. We'll determine how best to start treatment and forming a road map with how to do it.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

A skilled therapist is both a great listener and knows how to read between the lines. Clients present because they have an obstacle they don't know how to fix. What is causing this? Why did this happen to me? What can I do to make things better? I am able to listen but also identify behaviors that may be getting in the way, or an alternate path that may prove more successful. Part of being a therapist is helping the client connect the dots. I am good at making clear the bigger picture.

I am open to working with all clients. You may be hesitant to begin therapy, or ready to jump in. All I ask is you come with an open mind. I seek to meet my clients with where they're at.

Reflective listening and empathy or widely used in my practice. I want the patient to feel as comfortable as possible throughout each session.
