Hi! I am an Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Georgia. I graduated from Kennesaw State University and have been practicing for 11 years. In that 11 years I have worked with clients struggling with mental health, as well as substance abuse. I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment, foster care, homeless and transitional housing, as well as community care.
In our first session together, we will get to know one another better. My goal is to create a sense of safety, and assess where you are, what brings you to treatment, and what areas you want to work on in therapy.
My greatest strengths as a provider are acceptance, being non-judgmental, and truly listening to my client. We will work as a team to achieve the goals the client wants to obtain. They need to feel completely comfortable with me in order to do the deep dives needed to work through issues that may be presenting barriers.
I love working with clients along this journey called life, and it is a journey! My goal is to help clients go from merely surviving to thriving.
I am trained in various treatment modalities, including DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Strengths Based, and Trauma Informed Care. Depending on my client and what they need informs what practices I use.
