I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia with over 20 years of experience working with individuals, teens, and families. I have worked with clients on a wide range of issues.
I started my career working in child welfare where I worked alongside parents to help them become the best versions of themselves as individuals and as parents. I am experienced in working with parents and teens and helping each person improve those familial relationships.
For over a decade, I had the honor of working in medical settings with individuals coping with and adjusting to a new chronic and/or terminal disease diagnosis and with their families as they grapple with their new normal.
I have facilitated grief support groups for those who have lost a loved one or experienced a different type of loss. Processing grief is very important and looks different for each individual. I enjoy partnering with clients in finding their way back to joy and purpose after a loss.
It is a huge step to seek out therapy. I look forward to meeting you and helping you become the healthiest version of yourself.

Starting therapy is a meaningful step, and finding the right fit is an important part of that process. Together, we’ll create a supportive space to explore your challenges and work toward the goals that matter most to you.

I have been practicing psychotherapy part-time for about 30 years while I was a full-time college professor at the University of Miami, The University of Tennessee at Martin, and Middle Georgia State University. Since 2023, I decided to retire from Higher Education and practice full-time as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Macon, GA. Every time I meet with a client, I consider it a "holy" moment when someone allows me to enter into their inner space and I can share some of mine to establish a genuine connection with a fellow sojourner.
I am Tracy Webster and I am fully licensed in mental health as an LPC. I have lived a long and colorful life. Like everyone else, I've made good and bad choices and learned from each. I have 22+ years experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My role is to offer another perspective, a way to see life more fully and function better, no more, no less. I don't pretend to have all the answers but only one slice of wisdom. I just share what can help someone. Some people are not yet ready to be helped. Yet for those who are feeling lost on life's journey and are willing to listen and learn, I'm here to assist. My life work can be summed up in three words, "offering people hope. "
