Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 30 years of experience in mental health substance use disorders and grief counseling. I bring a compassionate and practical approach to therapy. My focus is on adults and teens, particularly those navigating grief and loss, but I’m also here for those dealing with everyday stressors, anxiety, or depression. Using a blend of empirical techniques including cognitive behavior therapy and solution focused therapy, I’ll help you tap into your strengths, work through tough emotions, and build resilience.
My sessions are relaxed, warm, and infused with a bit of humor—always tailored to your unique needs. During our first session, I will explore your reasons for seeking therapy as well as the goals you would like to achieve during our time together.
With over 30 years of professional counseling experience working in the field of behavioral health, I have worked with individuals struggling with a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders and grief and loss. My personal life experiences have also prepared me for helping others navigate the challenges of grief and loss of love ones.
