Misty Bamberg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (GA) and a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (SC). She earned her MSW in social work at the University of South Carolina. Misty has experience treating a variety of disorders and conditions to include depression and anxiety; managing stress; building self-esteem and confidence; and coping with life changes to include grief and loss.

I am glad that I took the first step in seeking therapy. Misty made me feel so comfortable and in a safe judgement-free space. I can not wait for my next session with her on this journey.

I had the opportunity to attend a counseling session with Misty, and it was an incredibly supportive and insightful experience. From the moment the session began, Misty created a welcoming and non-judgmental atmosphere that allowed me to feel comfortable opening up. Her warm demeanor and attentive listening skills made it clear that she genuinely cares about her clients' well-being.







It is hard to select a therapist. I read her bio and I chose her by her picture. I thought she would be genuine and very caring. As soon as I  saw her in my first session I knew I made the right decision. She was all that and more. 

Looking at Misty’s profile, she specialized in a lot of areas that I had a need for. We had our first meeting today, and it was apparent that she was a perfect fit for my needs. She was a great listener, she was very warm, and she helped to create a plan for our upcoming therapy sessions in the future. She listened to my needs, was very attentive and made me feel like this wasn’t a first therapy session. Thank you, Misty for making me feel at home.

After my first session I’m already happy to say I’ve found someone who hears me and reassures me and allow me to move at my own pace. 

I like the fact that they could keep up with me even during a panic spike of previous trauma.

Misty has helped to change my life. We started with two appointments back in April of this year. There was a lapse in my insurance, and so we picked back up about 4 weeks ago.  

Just in the short time, the positivity, the warmth, the intelligence, the oriented goals, etc., That she has already put into place. It’s just remarkable to say the lease. I can’t wait each week for my session, I never want them to end.

I feel lighter after just one session with Misty.

Misty is awesome. She is collaborative, gives homework, listens and remembers. 

I chose Misty because she is African American and specializes in grief.  I am happy with Misty because she is a believer, as am I.  She seems to be intelligent and caring.  In just the one session I am confident that she can help me resolve my issues or at least teach me how to cope. 

I believe we are a good fit. This is my 3 or 4 th appointment.  I look forward to our meeting because she gives me hope that I can be ok but I have to do the work and I'm ready to get busy healing. 

I look forward to my sessions with Misty every week. She and I meet every Monday morning and it really helps set the tone for the rest of my week. I can't say enough how genuine, warm, understanding and challenging when-need-be she is. I feel lucky to have her guidance in this journey.
