I was drawn to the field of therapy by a deep appreciation for the human capacity for growth and change. I find this work deeply meaningful and fulfilling, both for my clients and for myself. It is truly a privilege to witness my clients’ resilience and growth as it unfolds in real time. I approach sessions with curiosity and openness to understand each person’s experiences. I create a safe, respectful space where clients feel heard and can share without judgment. My goal is to help them build insight, develop practical skills, and feel more confident in daily life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will focus on getting to know you, your experiences, and what brings you to therapy, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I will approach our conversation with curiosity, openness, and empathy to ensure you feel heard, respected, and supported.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring an open-minded and curious approach to each session, guided by empathy and respect. I aim to understand people deeply while creating a safe space for them to explore their thoughts and experiences. I collaborate with clients to define clear, meaningful goals that reflect their needs, values, and strengths. I recognize that goals can evolve over time and adjust our work together as clients grow and gain new insight. I support clients in staying motivated by building practical skills, tracking progress, and reinforcing progress gained.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I help the people I work with build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, and navigate life’s curve balls with confidence and care. I use a compassionate, skills-based approach to help people improve communication, manage difficult emotions, and create meaningful, lasting change. I support clients of all ages who are struggling with overwhelming emotions, stress, or difficulty in relationships. My work focuses on helping clients to develop practical coping skills, strengthen self-awareness, and feel more in control of their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be contributing to distress. Together, we develop practical coping strategies and healthier ways of thinking so clients can feel more confident navigating everyday challenges and working toward their goals.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build skills for managing intense emotions, coping with stress, and improving relationships. Through a supportive and collaborative approach, I help clients strengthen mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness so they can respond to life's challenges with greater confidence and balance.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their values, strengthen their motivation for change, and work through feelings of uncertainty or ambivalence. I empower clients to identify their own strengths and take meaningful steps toward their personal goals.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use a person-centered approach by creating a warm, accepting, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to be themselves. Through empathy, genuine collaboration, and unconditional positive regard, I support clients in exploring their experiences and discovering their own path toward growth and healing.

Strength-Based

I take a strengths-based approach by helping clients recognize and build upon their existing abilities, resilience, and personal resources. Together, we identify what is already working well and use those strengths as a foundation for growth, healing, and lasting positive change.
