Laura Zviovich
Hello, I’m Laura Zviovich, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and a National Certified Counselor. I offer online individual and couples therapy in English and Spanish throughout Georgia, serving clients ages 12 and older. You may be feeling overwhelmed, experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression, coping with loss, or navigating relationship challenges, parenting, or life transitions. I provide a compassionate, supportive space where you can feel heard, explore your experiences, and work toward meaningful change. I welcome Hispanic clients, immigrants, and parents, with respect for each person’s cultural background and values. I earned my Clinical Psychology degree and postgraduate certification in Psychotherapy in Argentina, followed by a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Argosy University in the United States. My education and experiences across both countries inform my respect for each person’s unique story. Outside of work, I enjoy Pilates, reading, and travel.
First session
Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. We will explore your current concerns, relevant experiences, strengths, and hopes for our work together. You will have space to ask questions, share at your own pace, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you.
Strengths
I bring warmth, cultural sensitivity, and a flexible, collaborative approach. My training in Argentina and the United States, along with providing therapy in English and Spanish, helps me appreciate different perspectives. I combine thoughtful exploration with practical strategies, tailoring our work to your needs, values, and goals.
Ideal clients
I work with individuals ages 12 and older and couples who want to better understand themselves and strengthen their relationships. I welcome Hispanic clients, immigrants, and parents navigating cultural experiences, parenting concerns, and life transitions. Clients may be feeling overwhelmed, experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression, or coping with loss. Together, we explore different perspectives, build practical coping and communication skills, and work toward meaningful goals while honoring each person’s background and values.
Treatment methods
Integrative
I use an integrative, person-centered approach, which means I draw from different types of therapy and tailor our work to your needs. My approach incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, attachment theory, and psychodynamic therapy. Together, we can explore how your thoughts, emotions, past experiences, and relationships influence your life today while developing practical skills to manage current challenges. When parenting concerns are part of our work, I offer guidance to strengthen communication, navigate difficulties, and support the parent-child relationship. Your perspective, cultural background, values, and goals help guide the process. We’ll build on your strengths as you develop greater self-understanding, healthier relationships, and ways of coping that fit your life.
