As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe that everyone deserves to have the life they desire. I have over 7 years of experience in providing therapy and have worked in multiple settings. I know that starting therapy can be overwhelming, and I always meet my clients where they are in their journey. I emphasize the importance of collaboratively working with my clients to identify their strengths and overcome challenges to improve their well-being.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I know therapy can feel intimidating, so I like to keep things light in the first session! I acknowledge that I'm a stranger to you, and I must earn your trust before the therapeutic process can truly begin. I strive to provide a warm and open-minded environment for my clients. Ensuring you feel safe during our time is my priority. During our time together we'll work together to identify your goals and take action steps to achieve those goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I approach my sessions with a calm demeanor, always considering my client and their needs during our time. I'm personable, solution focused, and flexible. Establishing a relationship with my client and working collaboratively is an essential strength of mine.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I connect deeply with curious clients who want to become self-aware and are committed to doing the inner work, even when it’s hard. My clients tend to value a down-to-earth, compassionate approach that’s grounded in both insight and practical tools. If you’re looking for a space where you can be real, feel supported, and do meaningful inner work at your own pace, we might be a great fit. Most of my experience is working with addiction, depression/anxiety, trauma and couples counseling.

My treatment methods

Narrative

I love using the Narrative Therapy approach to empower clients to share their experiences. I have found that using this approach can help discover strengths, overcome challenges, and become the author of your own story.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a great approach to use to help clients become aware of their unhelpful thoughts and develop a more balanced way of thinking.
