I am Tina Powell, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who is a dedicated and passionate provider with over 15 years' experience. I believe that you are the author of your life story. I am here to assist and guide you in finding solutions to increase coping for reducing anxiety, managing stress, depression, and life changes so that you can achieve your goals and live your best life. I work with clients to develop activities and interventions that fit each persons unique set of strengths and skills. I am here to help you set realistic goals, navigate stressful life situations and develop useful coping skills. I would be honored to work with you to assist you in navigating struggles of everyday life or past experiences that prevent you from moving towards your goals. During our session you can expect compassion, empathy, non judgement, the use of evidence-based therapy techniques, incorporating mindfulness, nature and expressive arts. I create a safe space for clients to explore themselves to grow with confidence. I will assist clients find the right solutions and resources that fit into their lives to enable them to increase well-being, achieve goals, and increase balance. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia, I work with a diverse population as a Mental health clinician providing expertise in individual and family therapy with extensive work with teens, adults and the aging population. I also enjoyed working in hospitals with children and adults in crisis, trauma and stressful life situations, in behavioral health programs and in schools including alternative schools.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use Mindfulness to help clients be aware of what they are feeling and learn how to be present in the moment without interpretation or judgement. It is a practice of meditation and breathing techniques that decrease anxiety and increase relaxation and wellbeing. I have 15 years' experience using this method.
Motivational Interviewing
I use motivational interviewing to assist clients strengthen motivation for change. I have 15 years' experience using this method.
Strength-Based
