If you’re feeling overwhelmed by depression, struggling with anxiety, or finding yourself stuck in unhealthy relationships, I’m here to offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can work together to address your concerns and create positive change. I approach therapy with optimism and enthusiasm. I especially enjoy working with individuals navigating life transitions, as it’s incredibly rewarding to witness them overcome obstacles and emerge stronger. My natural curiosity drives me to truly understand my clients, and I find great joy in building authentic connections with those I work with. On a personal level, I have traveled extensively, which has deepened my understanding of how culture shapes our experiences, beliefs, and values. As a single parent, I’ve navigated both the joys and challenges of raising a child on my own, which gives me a unique perspective on resilience and personal growth. In terms of my professional background, I earned my Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of South Florida and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2004. With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field—nine of which have been spent in direct client service across various settings—I bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to my practice. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and work together on your journey toward healing and growth.
In our first session we will take some time to get to know each other. I will seek to understand why you are seeking therapy services and we will develop a plan to work on your concerns together as a team.
My therapy style is based on cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and insight-oriented principles.
I am committed to meeting you exactly where you are in your personal journey, offering support that is tailored to your unique needs and experiences. With a strong sense of intuition and a non-judgmental approach, I create a space where you can feel understood and accepted.
I’m particularly passionate about working with young adults who are in the process of navigating the complexities of life’s major transitions—whether it’s balancing the demands of starting a career, managing evolving relationships, maintaining friendships, or finding a sense of identity within their family dynamics. This period of life can be both exciting and overwhelming, as young adults often find themselves facing new responsibilities and figuring out how to prioritize and manage competing aspects of their lives. I love supporting them through this process, helping them develop the skills and confidence to create a fulfilling and balanced life.
