I am a cisgender bilingual (English/Spanish) LMHC serving first responders and other high-pressure professionals. My practice reflects my experience & intent to assist you. I understand the unique demands of high-stress roles and help clients navigate anxiety, depression, and unexpected life changes. My approach strengthens communication, resilience, and balance—so you can feel grounded, connected, and supported at work and at home.
Your first session is a supportive, judgment-free space where we focus on you. We’ll explore what’s bringing you to therapy, discuss your concerns, and clarify what you’d like to change or improve. Together, we’ll set meaningful, realistic goals tailored to your needs and outline how we’ll measure progress along the way. We’ll also go over important logistics that promote clarity and planning, including scheduling, rescheduling, and practice policies (including no show fee), so you feel fully informed and confident managing your time. Most importantly, your first session is about building connection, understanding your needs, and creating a foundation for lasting growth and balance in your life.
I bring compassion, consistency, curiosity, and evidence-based guidance to each session. Together, we will create a respectful, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. Therapy will move at a pace that honors your comfort, culture, values, and readiness while gently supporting the changes that matter to you. Growth does not require perfection; it may mean trying again, noticing patterns, practicing new skills, or choosing what better supports your well-being. Above all, I believe in hope, resilience, and your capacity to reconnect with your strengths, trust yourself, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I am best positioned to support adults who are seeking deeper self-understanding, emotional balance, and more intentional ways of relating to themselves and others. My work is especially meaningful for individuals navigating complex trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and the lingering impact of past experiences such as adverse childhood events including and not limited to adapting to a new country. I aim to create a safe space that is affirming, respectful, and grounded in genuine understanding, where clients can explore their experiences without fear of judgment. Many of the individuals I work with are motivated for growth but may feel stuck in patterns of emotional overwhelm, impulsive reactions, or difficulty setting boundaries. I also have a strong interest in supporting emergency responders and single mothers, who often carry significant responsibilities while managing high levels of stress. These clients may struggle with burnout, emotional exhaustion, or feeling that their needs come second to others. Together, we work to restore a sense of agency, develop effective coping strategies, and build sustainable ways to care for both themselves and those they support. My ideal client is not defined by having everything figured out, but by a willingness—sometimes even a small one—to reflect, to be curious, and to move toward change. Therapy with me focuses on helping clients shift from survival-based patterns into more intentional, value-driven living, while strengthening emotional regulation, self-trust, and a clearer sense of identity. Cynthia is a remarkable therapist and person. She is professional, deeply caring, and incredibly empowering. By treating the entire person holistically—mind, body, and spirit—she helps create true transformation. I have grown in ways I never imagined possible thanks to her guidance, and I am so grateful to have found both this platform and Cynthia.

Very friendly and helpful when it comes to resources. I am given different tips to help with every situation. Also, she dives into the root of the issue and opens up a deep discussion about it. You are guided and not just left with your thoughts.
