Life can be both beautiful and challenging. At times, we all require support to navigate our journey towards healing. I help my clients find their confidence, repair their relationships with themselves, and heal from past traumas. I am an EMDR Trained Therapist, specializing in the treatment of trauma and PTSD, CPTSD, maternal mental health, anxiety and depressive disorders, adjustment disorders, relational trauma, self esteem, interpersonal difficulties and phase of life issues.
Together, we can work towards creating a safe space where you can openly share your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Your healing journey is as unique as you are, and I am here to provide the guidance and support you deserve.
My approach is rooted in empathy and involves creating a safe space for listening with an open heart and engaging in a collaborative therapeutic process. As your therapist, my goal is to journey alongside you, hold space for your pain and remind you of your worthiness as I guide you towards an empowered life filled with peace, joy, compassion, and hope.
By using Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), we will work to reduce the intensity and frequency of trauma-related issues, resolve unprocessed traumatic experiences or memories, address and reprocess negative beliefs about the self, and alleviate disturbances from trauma-related stressors.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence based treatment designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic/painful memories.
Mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs), involves the use of mindfulness practices to help individuals manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other issues.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) combines aspects of mindfulness, behavioral therapy, and cognitive therapy. It focuses on helping individuals accept difficult thoughts and feelings rather than trying to eliminate or avoid them. ACT encourages people to live in alignment with their values and engage in actions that promote meaningful living, even in the presence of psychological discomfort.
Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) is a brief, goal-oriented approach that emphasizes finding solutions rather than focusing extensively on problems. It is future-focused and client-centered, encouraging individuals to envision a preferred future and identify the steps needed to achieve it. This approach is collaborative, where the therapist and client work together to build on existing strengths and resources.
Strength-Based Treatment (SBT) emphasizes an individual’s inherent strengths, resources, and resilience rather than focusing solely on their problems or deficits. The goal is to empower clients by helping them recognize and build on their existing abilities, skills, and support systems to navigate challenges and achieve personal growth.
