Life can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate the path to wellness alone. As a United States Air Force veteran, a mother of two, and a dedicated therapist, I bring a unique blend of structured resilience, deep empathy, and specialized clinical expertise to our sessions. I understand firsthand the complexities of high-stress environments, life transitions, and neurodivergent dynamics. My goal is to provide a safe, affirming space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported.
What to Expect: Your First 3 Sessions Starting therapy is a courageous step. To help ease any anxiety, here is how we will spend our first three 50-minute sessions building your foundation: Session 1 (Intake & Connection): We will go over practice policies, discuss why you are seeking therapy, and briefly explore your current presenting problem. Session 2 (The Deep Dive): We will complete a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment. This background helps me gather a clear clinical picture for an accurate diagnosis. Session 3 (Treatment Planning): This is a collaborative session. You will share your personal goals and choose the specific types of therapy you are most interested in pursuing.
My therapeutic approach is holistic, collaborative, and tailored entirely to your unique brain and life experiences. I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, and depression, while providing neurodiversity-affirming support for ADHD and Autism. By blending powerful trauma therapies like EMDR and Polyvagal Theory with structured approaches like CBT and DBT, we will work together to soothe your nervous system and build practical tools. Whether we are utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), focusing on immediate growth through Solution-Focused Therapy, or exploring deeper patterns with psychodynamic work, our connection is always anchored in strong therapeutic rapport and strengths-based skills building. Together, we will unlock your innate resilience and develop the concrete strategies you need to thrive.
I am best positioned to serve those that are ready for therapy and change. People who have already decided that therapy is the best place for them to deal with whatever they are going through and are willing/able to do the work to help themselves grow and change for their own betterment. Successful therapy requires an open mind, a willingness to change, attending appointments, and doing the work. I believe in ensuring my clients understand as much as possible in sessions. I will do my best to explain and clarify what we are doing in therapy and the purpose of it to the best of my ability.
