LMHC, 15 years of experience
New to Grow
Being a mom of four myself, I know how easy it is to put everyone else first and lose sight of your own needs. Life doesn’t pause when you’re overwhelmed, anxious, or stretched too thin—and sometimes it feels impossible to catch your breath, let alone take care of yourself. That's where therapy comes in. With over 14 years of experience, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to the work I do. I use evidence-based approaches that are proven to help create lasting results.
My goal is to make therapy feel approachable, effective, and tailored to you. Whether you’re juggling motherhood, career demands, or personal struggles, I strive to create a space where you feel understood and equipped with tools that actually work in real life. Together, we can move toward the calm, balance, and confidence you deserve.
What makes my counseling style unique? • Specialized focus on women and mothers — I deeply understand the stress, guilt, and identity shifts that come with motherhood. • Blending evidence-based methods with compassion — I combine structured, research-backed methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness with a warm, supportive style that makes change feel approachable and sustainable. • Practical and actionable strategies — Instead of staying only in reflection, I give clients tools they can use right away in real-life situations. Whether that’s calming anxious thoughts, setting boundaries, or finding more overall balance. • Results that feel both measurable and meaningful — Clients not only notice less anxiety or stress, but also describe feeling more present, grounded, and connected in their roles as women and mothers.
My work is centered on supporting women, with a special focus on the unique challenges that come with motherhood. I know and understand the struggles and pressures that come with this stage of life—I’ve experienced firsthand how much of a difference the right support can make during these pivotal moments.
I often use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as a practical and supportive approach. Motherhood can bring pressure, self-doubt, and a constant pull in many directions. CBT helps us look closely at the thought patterns that feed anxiety, guilt, or overwhelm and gently challenge them. Through this process, you’ll learn new ways of thinking and coping that feel more balanced, supportive, and true to you - so you can move through motherhood with more confidence and peace of mind.
For many women and mothers, life feels like it’s always moving at full speed. Mindfulness-based therapy offers a way to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. In our work together, I guide you in learning simple practices that bring more awareness to your thoughts, emotions, and body, helping you feel calmer and more grounded. With time, this approach supports less reactivity, more patience, and a greater ability to show up for yourself and your family with compassion and steadiness.
