I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a background in counseling, education, and developing mental health programs in diverse settings. Throughout my career, I have supported adolescents, college students, and emerging adults through periods of transition, growth, and self-discovery. I have lived and worked internationally, developed mental health programs across cultures, and served as a Training Coordinator in higher education, where I supported and trained developing therapists. My practice focuses on helping college students and emerging adults navigate anxiety, ADHD and executive functioning challenges, identity development, relationships, and the many transitions that come with becoming an adult. I provide a warm, practical, and collaborative therapy space where clients can feel understood, build confidence, develop meaningful coping skills, and create a life that feels authentic to who they are.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We will explore your current challenges, experiences, strengths, and the goals you hope to work toward. I will ask questions to better understand your story and how your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences may be impacting your current well-being. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of the path forward. Together, we will begin identifying areas where you would like support and develop a plan that feels meaningful and personalized to your needs.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel genuinely understood. I bring together my background in counseling, education, and mental health program development to help clients explore their experiences while also building practical skills they can apply in their everyday lives. Having worked with adolescents, college students, and emerging adults, I understand the unique challenges that come with transitions, identity development, independence, relationships, and finding direction during important stages of life. My international experiences and work in higher education have also shaped my ability to understand different perspectives and support clients as they navigate change, belonging, and personal growth. My approach is both compassionate and practical. I believe therapy should be a space where clients can gain insight, develop confidence, strengthen emotional regulation, and create meaningful changes that align with who they are.
My ideal clients are teens, college students, and emerging adults who are navigating change, self-discovery, and the challenges that come with growing into the next stage of life. Many of my clients are thoughtful, motivated individuals who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or unsure of how to manage the expectations placed on them. I enjoy working with clients who are navigating anxiety, ADHD and executive functioning challenges, identity development, relationships, life transitions, confidence, and the process of creating a life that feels meaningful and authentic. Some clients come to therapy because they are struggling with stress or emotions, while others are looking for support as they make important decisions about school, relationships, independence, and their future. I especially value working with individuals who may feel like they are adjusting to new environments and experiences, or trying to better understand themselves and where they belong. My goal is to provide a supportive space where clients can feel understood, develop practical skills, and build confidence as they navigate this important stage of life.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we work on recognizing patterns that may be causing stress or holding them back while building practical tools to feel more confident and in control. I combine CBT with mindfulness, strengths-based approaches, and real-life strategies to help clients navigate anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationships, and everyday challenges. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients can better understand themselves and develop skills that continue to help them outside of therapy.

I haven't been to therapy in a while so I was definitely nervous, but after my first session with Ms. Lundin, I truly do think I should give therapy another try. Thank you so much again for an amazing first session!
