About me

I believe we’re all capable of creating positive change, and that personal growth is a lifelong journey. Life, however, has a way of getting complicated. Challenges arise, emotions run high, and our perspective can become clouded—making it hard to see the next step forward. That’s where having someone neutral, honest, and supportive in your corner can make a real difference. My role is to help you make sense of what’s happening, gain fresh insight, and find a clearer path toward your goals. Together, we’ll work on building awareness, resilience, and confidence so you can move forward with purpose and peace of mind.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where we start building a bridge between where you are and where you want to be. We’ll take time to explore your story, your strengths, and the challenges that may be standing in your way. My approach centers on recognizing your unique potential and fostering growth from the inside out. Together, we’ll identify the patterns, goals, and insights that help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence. This isn’t about quick fixes—it’s about creating lasting change, one intentional step at a time. My goal is to empower you to trust your own judgment, make aligned life choices, and confidently cross the bridge toward the life you want to create.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What really sets my approach apart is how personal and collaborative it is. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy—you’re unique, and your care should be too. I stay up to date with the latest research and tools in mental health so that everything we do together is grounded, practical, and effective. I see our work as a partnership. You bring your experiences, insight, and goals—I bring support, perspective, and strategies to help you move forward. Together, we’ll bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be, creating lasting change and a stronger sense of confidence along the way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to help people who are juggling a lot—careers, relationships, family, identity, and the constant pressure to “have it all together.” Many of my clients are high-functioning but exhausted, self-aware yet feeling stuck, or simply ready to stop running on autopilot and start living with more clarity and purpose. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, my goal is to help you reconnect with yourself and your direction. I offer a space where you can pause, reflect, and rebuild—without judgment or pressure. Together, we’ll bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be, so you can move forward with greater confidence, calm, and authenticity.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the core approaches I use to help clients create real, lasting change. My experience with CBT comes from years of clinical practice, continuing education, and integrating it with other evidence-based methods to fit each client’s unique needs. In our work together, CBT means more than just identifying “negative thoughts”—it’s about understanding the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and learning how to shift those patterns in practical, meaningful ways. I guide clients through techniques that build awareness, challenge unhelpful thinking, and develop healthier coping strategies for everyday life. My approach is collaborative and supportive—you won’t get a “cookie-cutter” CBT worksheet unless it truly fits your goals. Instead, we’ll focus on helping you recognize your thought patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and take action steps that align with who you want to become.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a big part of my approach because it helps people build flexibility, self-compassion, and purpose. Rather than fighting or avoiding difficult thoughts and feelings, ACT teaches you how to make space for them—so they no longer control your choices or limit your growth. In our work together, we’ll focus on mindfulness, values, and committed action. You’ll learn to identify what truly matters to you and take practical steps toward living in alignment with those values, even when life feels uncertain or uncomfortable. My goal is to help you bridge the gap between struggling with emotions and living with intention—creating a life guided by meaning, not just by momentary stress or fear.

Christian Counseling

For clients who wish to include their faith as part of the healing process, I offer Christian counseling that integrates evidence-based therapy with biblical principles. This approach allows you to explore emotional and spiritual growth together, finding strength and guidance through your relationship with God while also building practical tools for everyday life. Faith-based work is always client-led—you decide how much spirituality is incorporated into our sessions. Whether you want to connect your values to your goals, explore questions of purpose, or find peace through both faith and psychology, I’m here to support you in a way that aligns with your beliefs and comfort level. The focus is on bridging the gap between mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being so you can move forward with greater balance and wholeness.

Grief Therapy

Grief can feel like standing on unsteady ground—everything familiar suddenly looks and feels different. My approach to grief therapy focuses on helping you find stability, meaning, and self-compassion as you navigate that shifting landscape. Together, we’ll create space for your emotions—whether that’s sadness, anger, confusion, or even moments of peace—and honor your unique process of healing. Grief isn’t something to “get over,” but rather something to move through, one step at a time, at your own pace. Through supportive conversation, mindfulness, and gentle guidance, we’ll work to bridge the gap between pain and peace—helping you carry your loss while rediscovering connection, purpose, and hope in your life again.

Eclectic

My approach is flexible, collaborative, and focused on the whole person. I draw from a variety of evidence-based methods to create a plan that fits your unique needs and goals. Whether you’re looking to manage stress, navigate life changes, strengthen relationships, or find more balance, we’ll work together to uncover what truly helps you grow. Together, we’ll create a path from where you are to where you want to be—building clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of purpose along the way. My goal is to help you move forward feeling grounded, capable, and ready to embrace lasting positive change.
