I am formally trained in EMDR and work from an insight-oriented, integrative approach. Therapy may include EMDR, mindfulness, and cognitive and behavioral strategies, along with Internal Family Systems-informed perspectives to support self-understanding and growth. I'm a down to earth, compassionate listener who creates a space of acceptance and safety. For over 30 years, I've worked with individuals across the lifespan, supporting people in navigating complex life experiences and emotional patterns. I value the importance of self-reflection and looking inward with honesty and compassion, knowing that deeper, more meaningful growth often emerges from understanding the parts of ourselves we've learned to avoid or protect. Together, we focus on cultivating clarity, meaning, and resilience, helping you live in greater alignment with your true self. I would be honored to support you on your journey!
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we'll get to know each other and explore your reasons for seeking support. You can expect a safe, compassionate space to share your experiences and concerns. We'll review your background, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve in therapy, and begin collaboratively identifying goals and approaches that feel right for you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I have a natural ability to create a safe, accepting space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and exploring their experiences. I help clients gain clarity, reconnect with their inner strengths, and move toward meaningful growth and alignment with their true selves.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with adults who are ready to engage in self-reflection, explore patterns in their lives, and work through life's challenges. Many are looking to manage stress, anxiety, or life transitions, clarify goals and align more fully with their true selves.
EMDR
I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) interventions to reduce trauma symptoms. Prior to engaging in emdr, time is spent focusing on self regulation strategies to prepare for EMDR.
