Hi, and welcome to a safe space for you to be able to express your thoughts and feelings. In this walk, you are not alone. I am ready to walk with you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session in an assessment. This is an opportunity for me to learn about you and your experiences that brought you here. This is a comprehensive assessment that begins with your childhood, reviews your relationships (familial and interpersonal), identifies trauma experiences, and evaluates symptoms and mood. A diagnosis is determined during this session and goals for treatment are created.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have provided therapy with care and compassion for 15 years. I am able to identify needs and opportunities for growth. I am passionate about empowering women and helping them reach their goals. The care you receive from me is empathetic and highly informed as I do understand the impacts of trauma and chronic health conditions on overall wellbeing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I serve women who are tired and overwhelmed with how they have been operating in life and are ready to make a change. If you are seeking to understand and change patterns of behavior, process traumatic experiences and life transitions, and want to establish boundaries and have healthier relationships, then you are in the right place.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and reactions/behaviors. This method is used to help reframe negative and anxious thinking patterns and learn how our negative thoughts impact our perceptions and overall mood.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT is used to address fulfillment of values and allows one to learn how to experience negative feelings while being able to acknowledge and experience other positive events and experiences that have also occurred in life.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma informed care is a method incorporated in therapy to address trauma in a compassionate way with empathy. This method approaches care with the understanding of how trauma impacts individuals and how they relate to themselves, their relationships, and the world they live in.

Integrative

I pull from different treatment methods to cater to the individual client as therapy is not a one size fits all approach.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-centered method focuses directly on the client and their individual needs. All sessions are person centered as your experiences of events and feelings are unique to you.
