Hi there! I'm a therapist with 10 year’s experience working in mental health. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, allowing me to gain a well-rounded perspective on mental health. My passion for this work stems from a genuine desire to see people thrive and overcome their challenges. I truly believe that everyone has the capacity to lead fulfilling lives once they tap into their own resilience and inner strength.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Let's create a comfortable environment where you can freely explore your innermost feelings without any fear of being judged. We can work together to navigate through the complexities of your emotions and find a way towards long-lasting change. If you're ready to start your journey towards emotional well-being and personal growth, let's connect. We can discover your untapped potential and pave the way for a brighter future, together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist, I believe my strengths lie in my ability to empathize with my clients, exercise patience, maintain self-awareness, listen actively, think critically, and communicate effectively.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am inspired by those who are determined to improve despite not having the necessary tools to turn their goals into reality. It takes courage to face overwhelming feelings of being stuck or anxious, but the journey towards positive change is worth it.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use a wide range of techniques and structured approaches that address our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through structured approaches, we can identify negative thought patterns to replace them with more positive thoughts and apply practical coping strategies to deal with problem behaviors. CBT is highly effective in treating a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use mindfulness-based therapies to counter anxiety and stress. Using meditation, relaxation, and awareness exercises, these therapies cultivate a nonjudgmental and non-reactive attitude toward experiences. Mindfulness breaks the rumination cycle and encourages acceptance of negative internal experiences, leading to greater peace and resilience over time.

Motivational Interviewing

When you find yourself in a situation where you have mixed feelings about making changes in your life, I use motivational interviewing techniques to help you. I firmly believe that every individual possesses the ability to bring positive changes in their life, but at times, they may need an extra hand to find the motivation to do so.
