First session
During the first session, I will ask you questions about who you are and how you became that person. We will spend some time getting to know each other to build a rapport. We will explore the challenges that brought you to therapy, and together we will establish goals and objectives that will help you achieve the changes you would like to make.
Strengths
I am an empathetic listener who creates a safe, supportive environment where others feel heard and understood. I combine this with a realistic, straightforward approach. My passion is helping people overcome challenges and reach their potential, whether that’s navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, anger management, relationship issues, or major life changes. I work with adults and adolescents to build resilience, foster self-awareness, and develop strategies that lead to lasting positive change.
Ideal clients
I work best with individuals navigating life transitions and who are struggling with relationship issues, anxiety, depression and work-life balance. I work best with individuals who are willing to engage in self-reflection, even when it feels uncomfortable and believe in their capacity to grow. I work best with individuals who are open to different perspectives, new ideas, and appreciate a strategic, step-by-step approach.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients identify negative thought patterns and behaviors. I help clients develop healthy coping strategies using different techniques.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness-based therapy to focus clients on their current experiences without judgment, helping them to increase self-awareness and overall well-being.
Supportive
I use supportive therapy to reinforce a client’s strengths, foster a trusting therapeutic alliance, and promote adaptive functioning through consistent emotional support and constructive feedback.
