Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Pennsylvania and Virginia. I completed a B.A. in Psychology at Temple University before attending PennWest Edinboro where I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. Additionally, I completed an M.A. in Counseling at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. I have spent the last 10 years specializing in parent-child attachment and relationship building. I was a Clinical Supervisor and am a Certified COSN Therapist & Certified COSN Parent Educator with the Ainsworth Attachment Clinic and Circle of Security Network. I am also a Registered COSP Facilitator with Circle of Security International. In 2024, I obtained my certification to treat Perinatal Mood Disorders through Postpartum Support International (PMH-C). I work primarily with women who are struggling on their perinatal journey. I also work with a wider variety of women's issues as well that may be unrelated to the perinatal period.
In our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other, with a focus on the challenges you are experiencing and what you would like to focus on in your treatment. The first session is also to gauge your comfort with continuing that work with me, so at the end of the session, you are welcome to schedule your next session, take some time to think about things, or if it doesn't feel like a good fit, that's ok too! I will also be determining if I feel I am best qualified to help you with your challenges.
With over 20 years experience in the field, I have come to value the therapeutic relationship over all else. Feeling comfortable and safe in session is the highest priority. You are in charge and I invite clients to feel empowered in session by checking-in with clients, periodically, on for feedback on what is working and not working for them. I also value authenticity, genuineness, and transparency and work to inform my clients, throughout the therapeutic journey, on what we are doing and why.
I love working with women who are ready to make a change, but need the support in figuring out the best way to go about that change. I also have a heart for working with women are struggling during their journey to motherhood and parenting.

I am a Certified Circle of Security Parent Educator and Therapist and practiced under the supervision of Dr. Bob Marvin for over a decade. I use my specialization in attachment-based work to guide clients into seeing patterns in their relationships, including relationship with self, that are no longer serving them. Understanding these dynamics helps clients to better identify their own needs, their needs within relationships, and how to best shift their strategies for getting these needs met.
I value a collaborative and informed approach to therapy where the client feels empowered and partnered with.
