Hi there, I'm Chloe'. Do you struggle with setting boundaries, finding time for yourself, saying no to the requests or demands of others, or struggle with self-esteem issues that may be holding you back? Do you have addiction issues or family members with addiction issues? Do you struggle with guilt and shame? I specialize in helping others to learn to set boundaries, make their self-care a priority, deal with control issues and issues with excessive guilt, and work through past issues in challenging family systems. I also enjoy listening deeply and helping to empower others to take back their power and increase feelings of self-worth. I enjoy helping others to work through negative self-talk, improve mindfulness, and overcome anxiety. I also enjoy working with the LGBTQ population and with people coping with grief and bereavement. Therapy can often feeling like a daunting, scary task, but together we can work together to figure out what is not working and to improve upon what is. I utilize a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness based approaches to help target the things which may be holding you back. I have been told throughout my life that I help people feel calm and am easy to talk to and provide objective, compassionate feedback. I look forward to working with you to help you live your best life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect to be listened to thoroughly and in an objective, compassionate, and nonjudgmental way. We will work together collaboratively to find out where the problems lie and how to ameliorate them as best as possible.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, positive psychology, humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches to help you work through issues and to learn new techniques and tools.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths are being able to provide my undivided attention and listen deeply, being able to be objective and see multiple sides of an issue or situation, and my compassionate, nonjudgmental nature. This enables me to enjoy working with clients of diverse backgrounds and upbringings. I especially enjoy helping to empower others and to free themselves from issues from the past which may be preventing them from moving forward.
