About me

Welcome! I know how hard it can be to reach out for support. If you're here, I want you to know that you're not alone and you don't have to figure everything out by yourself. I'm someone who believes in the power of feeling seen, heard, and understood. I believe that therapy should feel like a real conversation where you can breathe, think, and be real, not a clinical checklist. I believe you deserve a space where you don't have to pretend, perform, or be "put together". Therapy with me is about helping you feel safe enough to be your real, unfiltered self. The parts that feel strong and the parts that feel messy. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida and for over 8 years I've helped adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. A lot of the people that I work with are tired of wearing masks- the "strong one", the "fun one", the "reliable one". Underneath, they feel overwhelmed, anxious, numb, or disconnected from who they used to be. I help create a space where you can take those masks off without fear. You don't have to know the right words. You don't have to have everything figured out. You just have to show up as you are. Together, we'll work through what you're carrying and build tools that feel realistic and fit your real life. If you're tired of pretending and ready for a space where you can just be real, I'd love to support you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we focus on connection- not pressure. You can expect a space where you feel heard, understood, respected. Just real conversation. We focus on what's weighing on you right now. We'll talk about what you're going through, what you want to change, and what healing and stability could look like for you. You'll learn more about me and my approach to therapy. You set the pace. I'll guide and support you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is that I'm a real person first. When you sit across from me, you're talking to someone who genuinely cares, listens deeply, and wants to understand your story. I don't see people as broken. I see people as hurting, overwhelmed, and doing the best they can with what they have. I focus on your strengths, even when you can't see them yet. I help you build confidence, trust yourself more, and feel more in control of your emotions. I also bring patience into my work. Healing doesn't have a timeline. There's no rush, no pressure, no "you should be over this by now". We go step by step, together. And maybe my most important strength is that I genuinely believe in my clients. Even when you don't believe in yourself yet, I will. I'll help you feel supported, understood, and strong enough to get through whatever you're facing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are people who are tired of surviving and ready to start living. Many of my clients are used to being the strong one for others, but privately struggle with anxiety, stress, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. You may feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or disconnected from yourself and others. If you are someone who feels tired of surviving and ready to start feeling calmer, more confident, and emotionally grounded, I may be a good fit for you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we'll identify negative thought patterns that keep you stuck and build healthier ways of thinking to improve your mood, confidence, and daily functioning. You'll learn practical tools to manage anxiety and racing thoughts, reduce depression symptoms, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen problem solving skills.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing helps you work through mixed feelings about change. It's especially helpful if you feel stuck, unsure, or overwhelmed about taking the next step in your life. This approach helps you build confidence in your decisions, strengthen internal motivation, reduce resistance to change, and create realistic, sustainable goals.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution Focused Brief Therapy focuses less on what's wrong and more on what's possible. We concentrate on solutions, strengths, and small steps that create real change quickly. This method helps you move forward without feeling stuck in the past, identify what's already working, develop clear, achievable goals, and build momentum toward change.

Strength-Based

Strength-Based Therapy focuses on identifying your inner strengths, building self-esteem, healing from trauma in a safe space, and empower you to trust yourself again.
