(she/her)
Hi, I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision designation (LPCC-S), which means I have advanced clinical training and experience, and I also supervise and support other therapists in their work. I specialize in helping women—especially young mothers—navigate anxiety, trauma, and grief. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to carry so much while still trying to show up for everyone else. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself, process what you’re going through, and learn practical tools to feel more grounded and in control. Together, we’ll work at your pace to help you feel more confident, supported, and like yourself again.
The first session is extremely laid back. This first session is a lot like a meet and greet. This will allow you to get comfortable with how to log in, ask any questions you have about how therapy works, and I will ask some questions to get to know you and where we can start to assist you in your journey to living a fuller life.
I take a supportive, down-to-earth approach to therapy, especially for women and young mothers navigating anxiety, trauma, or grief. I create a space where you can feel heard, understood, and not judged. I focus on helping you make sense of what you’re going through while also giving you practical tools you can use in everyday life. Clients often share they leave sessions feeling lighter, more clear, and better able to cope. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and like yourself again.
If you’re constantly overwhelmed, anxious, or feel like you’ve lost yourself while taking care of everyone else, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to keep doing it on your own. I’m best positioned to support women—especially young mothers—who are navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, or major life transitions. This can look like postpartum challenges, relationship stress, burnout, or feeling disconnected from who you used to be. Many of my clients are used to putting others first and are ready to finally focus on their own needs, even if they’re not sure where to start. I offer a supportive, judgment-free space where you can process what you’ve been carrying while also learning practical tools to cope, set boundaries, and feel more in control. My clients are often looking to feel more grounded, confident, and like themselves again—and are open to taking small, meaningful steps to get there.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps children, teens, and their caregivers process and heal from traumatic experiences. I use this model to support young clients in understanding their emotions, developing healthy coping skills, and safely processing difficult memories. TF-CBT is structured and collaborative, and I tailor it to each individual’s age, needs, and comfort level. I also work closely with caregivers throughout the process to strengthen communication, build trust, and support recovery at home. My goal is to help clients move from a place of fear and pain to one of resilience, empowerment, and hope.
Group Therapy
Group therapy is a treatment I like to use because it helps others know they are not alone by sharing personal experiences or listening to others share theirs. This can be for Substance Use Disorder, PTSD, Victims of Sexual assault, trauma etc.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is a structured goal oriented talk therapy. I use CBT for a wide range of diagnoses such as stress, anxiety, depression, substance use disorder, PTSD, any trauma related experiences. CBT allows individuals to change negative beliefs, handle stress, participate in positive activities, set and work toward goals, and develop healthier coping behaviors.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT in situations when clients have difficulties regulating their emotions. Examples could be individuals who struggle with reintegrating back into society after long periods of incarceration and individuals who are in recovery.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness therapy with my clients who are struggling with chronic pain, consistent thoughts, and but not limited to, excessive worry. Mindfulness can be used in combination with other forms of therapy.
