New to Grow
Hi, my name is Samantha! I’m an EMDR clinician offering telehealth therapy for adults and teens across Kentucky. I often work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and the effects of trauma. I draw from CBT, DBT, IFS, compassion-focused therapy, and EMDR, tailoring each approach to your unique needs, goals, and preferences within a safe, supportive and collaborative space.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
I’m best positioned to work with adults and older teens in Kentucky who feel stuck or overwhelmed by anxiety, ADHD, trauma, depression, or self-doubt. You may be looking for therapy that feels grounded, supportive, and collaborative. Together, we focus on building insight, finding relief, and developing practical strategies to navigate work, relationships, and daily life with more calm, clarity, and confidence.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What often stands out about my work is my client-centered, relational approach. Sessions tend to feel conversational, low-pressure, and collaborative, with your needs and preferences guiding the process. I have extensive experience using EMDR to help clients work through complex trauma histories, and I balance depth-oriented work with a practical, solutions-focused lens, offering tools and skills you can use when life brings unexpected challenges.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is an adult or older teen in Kentucky feeling stuck with anxiety, ADHD, trauma, depression, or self-doubt. They want therapy to feel grounded, supportive, and collaborative. Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT in sessions to teach clients how thoughts, feelings, and emotions impact each other, how to break the cycle, and challenge automatic thoughts or negative thinking.
EMDR
I use EMDR with client's who have distressing memories and experiences. I teach client's resources to manage emotions and stay in their window of tolerance, help clients process distressing material, and work through negative beliefs about themselves and the world.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I teach clients DBT skills in sessions to help them manage emotions, have better interpersonal relationships, communicate and set boundaries effectively.
