As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 20 years of experience specializing in substance use disorder treatment, I provide a unique understanding to the disease of addiction, anxiety, depression and other underlying conditions. I use a blend of cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and faith based treatment. I am person of deep faith who loves his wife and 2 children. Family means a great deal to me and has been a wonderful support system to me along my life journey. I would love to help individuals find the support they need to assist them along their own personal journeys of life.
In our first session, a person can expect a warm and affirming welcome, a comfortable setting in a non-judgmental environment where a collaborative process of exploration of emotions, thoughts and experience along with self directed planning will begin.
I have 20 years of experience working in recovery from life's hurts and habits. My therapeutic style is unique in how I use counseling techniques such as CBT, MI and psychoeducation along with faith, and my personal experiences of growth.
