I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with experience working with: depression, stress, anxiety, loneliness, motivation, self-esteem, self-love, and confidence. I believe that it is a common misconception that people feel that therapy is only for the mentally ill. Sometimes difficult life-cycle transitions such as relationship issues, work stressors, anxiety, for example, may overwhelm our ability to cope, to get through difficult situations, and the need for emotional support may arise. Therefore, I believe that most people can benefit from a therapist who can provide an objective, non-judgmental perspective, in an environment of collaboration, and confidentiality. My counseling style is empathetic and welcoming. The type of psychotherapy approach I mostly rely on is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a broad term that is comprised of a diverse group of treatments which, its effectiveness has been demonstrated in several randomized controlled trials.
