Today you are one step closer to a new you, feeling empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being.
As an Assistant Professor, Researcher, and Doctor of Marriage and Family Therapy and a solution-focused therapist, I aim to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Hello, I’m Allison Patrick, a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate grief, trauma, chronic illness, caregiving responsibilities, and life’s many transitions. I believe that healing happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and supported, and I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients can show up exactly as they are without fear of judgment.
My professional background includes working in hospice care, where I had the privilege of supporting individuals and families facing serious illness, end-of-life concerns, and profound loss. Those experiences deepened my understanding of grief in all its forms and reinforced my belief that every person’s journey is unique. Whether you are mourning the death of a loved one, coping with anticipatory grief, adjusting to a major life change, or learning to live with a chronic health condition, I offer compassionate support tailored to your needs.
I also work with individuals who have experienced trauma, helping them process difficult experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and build a stronger sense of safety and self-compassion. For caregivers, I understand the emotional, physical, and mental demands that come with caring for others and the importance of finding balance while navigating those responsibilities.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help guide, support, and empower you as you work toward your goals. Together, we can explore the challenges you are facing, identify your strengths, and create meaningful change.
Seeking support takes courage, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they move through difficult seasons, discover resilience, and find hope, healing, and renewed purpose.

I'm Nicole! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alabama and Virginia. As a young mom with a blended family, I understand the pressures of parenthood, co-parenting, relationships, and day-to-day stress. I am an ADHD Certified Clinical Services provider, specializing in women's issues and adult ADHD. I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology, my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and my post-graduate certification in Advanced Counseling from Freed-Hardeman University.
I have always been passionate about helping others, so therapy was a natural fit for me. I decided to specialize in ADHD after realizing that I had been undiagnosed until adulthood and struggled through my childhood and teen years, not realizing that ADHD was the culprit of that distress. I find joy in helping other people find freedom in embracing themselves and finding ways to overcoming or cope with the challenges ADHD presents on a daily basis.
Life can feel overwhelming when stress, anxiety, or life challenges begin to affect your relationships, work, or sense of well-being. I am passionate about helping individuals explore emotional and behavioral wellness while strengthening the connection between mind and body. With nearly 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in hospitals, schools, nursing homes, and outpatient settings, I have supported many people through life’s challenges.
I work with adults and teens who are experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, trauma, or emotional difficulties. My goal is to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their concerns and developing healthier ways to cope and move forward.
Therapy isn't just about talking. It's about getting results. I offer the kind of therapy which provides my patients with the results that they are seeking.

My name is Michael Starr, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I work with individuals, couples, and families facing anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, identity questions, and emotional overwhelm.
My style is honest, grounded, and deeply respectful of the human experience. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Focused CBT, but I also hold space for what cannot always be explained, your story, your meaning, your growth.
Clients often come to me feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. Together, we uncover the patterns keeping you there and build the insight, skills, and resilience to move through them. You won’t be rushed or judged. You’ll be heard, supported, and challenged when needed.

I am a graduate of Virginia Union University with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and I later went on to receive my Master's degree in Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health from Howard University. Throughout my studies, my practicum experience consisted of working with the Maryland Truancy Court Reduction Program and Outpatient Behavioral Health Services at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. I received post-graduate, intensive training at the Immigration Evaluation Training Center in the area of extreme hardship waivers, domestic violence (VAWA) & asylum immigration evaluations in Virginia and Washington, DC.
Thereafter, I later went on to work in a variety of settings that have afforded me the opportunity to diversify my work and skill set with different populations and individual needs. This includes addiction, foster care & adoption, community support and residential treatment. My experience has afforded me the opportunity to learn from and support individuals who struggle with everyday life stressors, those that are impacted by mild, moderate, severe and chronic mental illness. My background includes adolescents, young adults, adults, and geriatrics who are struggling with mental health challenges.
In 2017 I began working in leadership at Gateway Homes, Inc. where I gained expertise with serving individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. I may not have the answers, but I can help you process your questions, your thoughts, and your situations. I’m here to team with you through this journey. Whether you are someone seeking to understand your thoughts and behaviors, a couple looking to improve your relationship, or an athlete seeking an unbiased listening ear, I’m the therapist for you.
There is a way out. Those who come to see me are often at a crossroads, frustrated at how they are trying to deal with problems and seeking workable strategies and solutions to cope. Therapy is meant to be a space to feel welcome to talk about thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are problematic. Understanding unhealthy behaviors, frustrations with life, and/or unsuccessful efforts to cope can help reveal the obstacles that may block your path to growth and desired outcomes.
I have over 15 years experience providing therapy and case management including in the areas of: Couples counseling; Anxiety issues; Medical and chronic pain issues; Phobias; Eating disorders and body image challenges; Post-residential and outpatient maintenance therapy for continued abstinence and sobriety from substance use and eating disorders; Fertility and conception issues; LGBTQ and gender concerns; and Couples counseling (without legal involvement).

Are you a woman facing big decisions? Navigating relationship challenges, family dynamics, parenting difficulties, career pivots? My background shapes how I approach therapy with clients facing such women's issues, which includes years as a licensed mental health counselor, but also as serving in senior leadership within higher education, supporting clients as a transformational coach, and balancing parenting along the way. This mix (and juggling act) gives me a practical understanding of how emotional wellbeing is often shaped by work, caregiving, relationships, and major life responsibilities.
Many of the woman I work with are thoughtful, capable, and carrying more than others realize. They often appear highly functional on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, depleted, uncertain, or disconnected from themselves. I help clients slow things down enough to understand what is happening beneath the surface, identify what needs attention, and move forward in ways that feel grounded and realistic.
I am licensed in Washington and Rhode Island, am a nationally certified counselor, and hold a doctorate in adult and higher education. Together, we find solutions to the barriers keeping you from your next chapter.

I'm Charonne Randall, LCSW-C, a trauma-informed psychotherapist, leadership coach, speaker, and founder of Cultivating Unstoppable You and Soar Beyond Coaching & Consulting. With more than 20 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and leaders navigate life's challenges, I am passionate about helping people move from survival to authenticity.
At my core, I'm a down-to-earth, relatable person who believes healing happens through genuine connection, not perfection. Clients often describe me as warm, compassionate, insightful, and easy to talk to. I create a space where people feel safe enough to be honest about their struggles, uncover the patterns that keep them stuck, and discover new ways of living, loving, and leading.
My work integrates evidence-based approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), attachment-based therapy, and Christian counseling for those who desire faith integration. Whether I'm working with a couple seeking deeper connection, a leader battling burnout, or a woman who has spent years putting everyone else's needs before her own, my goal is to help people understand why they do what they do, heal the wounds beneath their protective patterns, and reconnect with who they truly are.
My own journey through loss, life transitions, and personal reinvention has shaped my belief that our greatest challenges can become catalysts for growth and transformation. I am passionate about helping others remove the masks they've worn to survive, embrace their God-given worth, and cultivate lives marked by authenticity, purpose, peace, and meaningful connection.
Hello! My name is Meredith. I am an LPC, and have been in private practice since 2021. I am deeply passionate about what I do and I'm so glad to be getting started on Grow. As a therapist, I intentionally try to bring my most genuine and authentic self to my clients. I know how crucial this is as the basis of a productive working relationship. My sessions are primarily client-led, meaning I will prioritize what feels most prescient to you on a given day, and meet you where you are. At the same time, I will help ensure that we are consistently working toward your specific goals. I feel that the best therapeutic outcomes come from the most secure and trusting counseling relationships, and that is what I try to provide. It is probably also important for any potential client to know that my office will always be a safe space for all, regardless of belonging to any underserved, disenfranchised community.
When I am not at work, I love cooking, all things macabre and scary- books, movies, podcasts, and I love reading and hanging out with my family. I am passionate about all kinds of art and the written word. I recently took up archery, and it is a great outlet. Otherwise, I am an indoor type of gal, especially in the summer. I am quick to laugh, and will often crack a joke at my own expense.
I help high-functioning adults reconnect with themselves and learn to trust their own judgment again.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable adults who have spent years taking care of everyone else while quietly struggling themselves. They often appear successful on the outside but privately feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from who they used to be.
You may be recovering from betrayal, navigating a difficult relationship or divorce, struggling with perfectionism or people-pleasing, healing from trauma, or facing a major life transition. Somewhere along the way, you may have begun second-guessing yourself, losing confidence in your instincts, or wondering why life feels so much harder than it looks from the outside.
My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. Together, we'll make sense of the patterns keeping you stuck, calm your nervous system, reduce shame, strengthen healthy boundaries, and build the confidence to make choices that align with your values instead of fear or self-doubt. Therapy should leave you feeling understood, supported, and equipped with practical tools that make everyday life feel lighter.

I believe in the person-centered approach. I meet you where you are. I work across the life span, with my youngest patient being age 3 and my oldest patient being in their 80s. Each person is different and comes from a different experience, so I work from a holistic approach. Whether it's depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, OCD, trauma or some other issue, no one experiences symptoms the exact same way. Therefore, their treatment should not be a cookie cutter approach. Over my 15 years experience, I have been able to meet many people along the way through working in the school system, to inpatient facilities and outpatient services. I look foward to meeting you and working together to meet your needs.

I will like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as a licensed mental health therapist. I want to tell you a little about myself and my fieldwork experiences. I worked in this field for several years, along with various training, to assist clients in different areas. In the last several years, I worked in a mental health hospital with adolescents, substance abuse, and crisis intervention in various settings. People with trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia were some of the people I helped at work. I worked with individuals on career choices to increase their career paths to maximize success. I support individuals in their desire to become independent, and I do this by helping them identify their true potential.
Usually, my clients seek therapy and counseling after struggling with challenges for days and sometimes months. Over time, these same challenges create maladaptive behavior patterns that must be corrected to facilitate change. However, my clients tend to dig in while inserting a host of new concerns.
Albert Einstien wrote: "We can't solve today's problems with the mentality that created them" With this in mind, it is better to seek professional services and resources: Recognizing you're not alone in this healing process.
I understand that therapy cannot solve all things of the past that challenge us, but clients can seek support, understanding, and better days.
My passion is to help the world heal through community and humanity. I'm ready to help you define and rewrite your new beginning. This will allow you to sculpt the person you want to be.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Virginia. I received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Florida and my Master's Degree from Adelphi University in New York. I have been in this field for 15 years and in private practice for 13 years. Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Virginia. I work with adults 18+. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, motivation, self esteem and confidence, trauma, and depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our sessions and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I work a great deal with first responders, couples, and those who struggle with intrusive uncomfortable thoughts. I am honored to be here to support you in the healing process.
I focus on trauma, grief, overwhelming life events, relationship issues, recognizing patterns and coping mechanism using Internal Family Systems and Brainspotting. We may be a good fit if you are ready for deeper insight, seek a fresh approach beyond just talk therapy. I believe the important step in therapy is to create a sound relationship between client and therapist, then, using modalities like Internal Family System (IFS), Brainspotting and Polyvagal theory to help alleviate symptoms from unresolved issues that remain present in our daily lives, and behaviors and thoughts that decrease our quality of life. I work with adults of all ages. I use trauma informed care with body and nervous system awareness. Learning and creating compassionate connections to your inner system and learning to release emotions through the body may lead to relief and healing.
Like the movie, Inside Out or Inside Out 2, parts are like characters that have their own roles, emotions, beliefs and interactions with others. With time, parts work feels more comfortable and familiar and you can settle into your own system and internal experience. You will learn to notice your nervous system responses to different situations.
“IFS is a loving way of relating internally (to your parts) and externally (to the people in your life), so in that sense, IFS is a life practice, as well. It’s something you can do on a daily, moment-to-moment basis—at any time, by yourself or with others.” ― Richard C. Schwartz, No Bad Parts: Healing Trauma and Restoring Wholeness with the IFS Model
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to creating a safe, affirming space where individuals and couples can explore their identities, experiences, and challenges without fear of judgment. I also specialize in supporting clients of all ages who are navigating the impacts of complex trauma and PTSD, offering compassionate care tailored to each person’s unique healing process.
In addition, I bring expertise in working with children, adolescents, and adults with brain-based differences such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS), and other conditions of neurodiversity. My approach integrates education, skill-building, and empowerment—helping individuals, couples, and families thrive in daily life while supporting parents and caregivers in understanding and meeting the needs of their loved ones.
Together, we can create a space for reflection, self-discovery, and change, with an emphasis on building resilience and restoring connection to self and others.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relational betrayal, or a major life transition you don’t have to process these emotions alone.
Treating behavior alone doesn't heal the root cause because our bodies carry the stories our minds struggle to process. In our sessions, we slow down. I will guide you to notice where emotions are being held in your body, help you name them, and identify the 'story' and needs behind that feeling. Together, we learn to honor those needs, providing the relief and self-trust that talk therapy alone often misses.
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my desire to help people heal beneath the surface and reclaim their sense of identity and authentic self.
My approach to therapy is integrative and person-centered, meaning I blend evidence-based modalities like CBT, ACT, and Narrative therapy based on your unique needs. However, the core of my work is a somatic, 'bottom-up' approach. This is based on the belief that emotions and trauma are stored in the body and that treating behavior alone doesn't heal the root cause.
The approaches used in session, help clients to manage overwhelming emotions, challenge negative thought patterns, and release the stress their bodies hold onto after trauma. These methods help clients find relief from anxiety, depression, grief, and relational betrayal in ways that last beyond the therapy room.

Therapy doesn’t have to be about “fixing” who you are. Sometimes, it’s about understanding yourself more deeply, recognizing your strengths, and finding the tools and confidence to move forward. Wherever you are in your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
I'm a Bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with 19 years of clinical experience, 15 years licensed within private practice.
I consider myself to be bicultural. Having been raised as a first-generation American in a Latin family, I can identify with the mentality of someone living within two "worlds". Transitioning from one culture to another with seemingly different values, beliefs and language. I can easily understand the struggle that maintaining, and existing in both, can sometimes be. I've come to perceive and appreciate it as the gift of having a "bridge" that allows connection to, and understanding of, different aspects of people and life.
My education has a foundation in Clinical Psychology, woven with holistic transpersonal themes, the connection between mind, body, and spirit, and just plain down-to-earth common sense. Always keeping in mind the client's personal beliefs and values.
I am a Virginia based Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps women reconnect with their inner strength, heal from emotional wounds, and release the various pressures of life. My work centers on guiding you back to your truth rooted in peace, clarity, and confidence. With a strong foundation in social work (BSW and MSW) and years of experience supporting clients through challenging seasons, I bring a compassionate and person-centered approach rooted in peace.
I strive to display empathy, trust, support towards each of my clients while maintaining a nonjudgmental collaborative environment where growth can occur. Whether you are facing hardship, feeling stuck in life, or just wanting to make positive changes in your life, I would be honored to support you in your journey toward wellness based on a Christian perspective.
On a personal note, when I am not counseling you can find me lounging by the pool or beach, hiking through a park or attending a play or event.
