Welcome~ I'm Genevieve. First of all, I commend you for taking the first step in taking care of your mental health. Especially if this is your first time exploring therapy, it might feel confusing, overwhelming, or nerve-racking. However, once you find the right fit, I hope you feel empowered in the steps you've taken to better take care of yourself. My goal is to provide a safe, judgement-free space for you to feel heard and understood as you explore challenges related to racial identity, particularly if you identify as Asian, Asian-American, or as a Person/Woman of Color. Oftentimes, our lived experiences as POC (People of Color) can include stress, anxiety, depression, family conflict and trauma. I focus on helping you get in touch with what's no longer serving you or keeping you stuck, and collaborate in figuring out how to live a life that feels fulfilling, hopeful and aligns with your values. Culturally-sensitive therapy can be a wonderful way to help you feel seen, foster your personal growth & development, and gain helpful tools to improve your quality of life. If this sounds like what you're looking for, it would be an honor to journey alongside you. I welcome you to schedule a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to assess for fit if you'd feel more comfortable doing so before an initial appointment.

Hello, and welcome! My name is Amber Stewart, and I’m a licensed professional counselor (LPC) out of Western Pennsylvania; I'm also licensed in Wisconsin. I specialize in anxiety, self-esteem, depression, and trauma. I want to help you go from just tolerating the symptoms of your anxiety, depression, or trauma to living fully in the present. You deserve to live the life you envision for yourself, and I want to help you do that by exploring the areas you’re struggling with, teaching you ways to cope, and reducing the impact that these symptoms have on your life by addressing them at their core. I believe that underlying most (if not all) mental health concerns is some kind of trauma – and, there’s many studies that support my belief that trauma is connected to depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. Taking the time to start therapy and acknowledge our own personal struggles is the first, and often times, most difficult step in the healing process. I believe that therapy can offer the space for one to process relationships, career changes, grief, and life transitions in depth with safety and clarity. As a therapist, I aim to offer insight in helping clients identify their own values and assist them in aligning said values with their life choices to connect one's sense of self. I also help clients explore how their experiences may have impacted them and offering ways one can use that understanding for self healing and growth.

I understand how meeting with a therapist for the first time can feel scary and overwhelming. I work very hard to provide a safe space where clients can feel free to openly talk about what they are struggling with. I have been working with clients for 22 years to help them identify their goals and figure out what they need to move forward and experience a happier, more fulfilling life. My name is Kim Ring and I have had the opportunity to work in many different settings in the mental health field, such as outpatient, inpatient, drug and alcohol rehabs, and home-based work. Because of my vast experience I have worked with many types of clients where I have gained invaluable experience. I have had clients tell me they like my approach because I am genuine and direct. By gently turning toward these parts of ourselves, we create space for healing and growth. My goal is to support you to feel heard, seen, and empowered to transform these challenges. Through mind-body-spirit integration, you'll reconnect, find balance, and discover what transformation means for you.

Hello. I look forward to working with you. My own background is one of growing up on farms, having little money and ambitious dreams. I did not know what it was but I knew I wanted to go to college and get out of the tobacco fields around me. My dreams came true. I ended up being a psychologist and a teacher, spending decades working in residential treatment then in schools, the last 13 years working with preschoolers and their families to prepare them to succeed in school. As a teacher, I taught many college and university courses as well as workshops, most recently to address grief and trauma. In the early 1990's, I felt led to live and work at or near the world center of Quakers called Pendle Hill in PA. There I studied and taught Arts and Spirituality while also serving as a Psychologist in nearby schools. I came to see the importance of Co-Creativity (creating together a piece of life we truly want to live for). My specialties in the Arts have been writing, visual arts and dancing/movement from a "no wrong way" perspective. I incorporate these into the therapy process as they become beneficial. For much of my life, I have also been engaged with my own therapeutic process. Having been the client for several years, gives me the perspective of what might be important to you as we work together, never assuming I know or forgetting to ask you. In our sessions, I want to hear about you, find our starting points and from there develop action plans each session to work on the goals needed to find the life you dream of and are willing to work toward.

Hi! Since 1991, I have worked with individuals across outpatient and inpatient settings, in homes and schools, and now through telehealth. I have assisted people with a variety of challenges--whether related to depression, anxiety and stress, trauma, behavioral control, self-esteem, substance use, life transition, and other issues. I believe in "possibilities thinking", goal setting, active strategizing, and frequent accounting of progress. As a long-term counselor and college psychology professor, I am well acquainted with many therapeutic approaches; however, I am somewhat partial to cognitive-behavioral therapy, relaxation and mindfulness, and solution-focused treatment. I am also formally EMDR-trained, which can be a very helpful tool for trauma. There are many therapy options and providers--whomever you select, I wish you the best. Remember--it’s your life, your journey … make the most of it! Sincerely, Rick NOTE: At the current time, my availability will typically be from 7-9 pm on some weekday evenings; and from 8 am-2 pm on most Saturdays and Sundays. I also have select Tuesday and Thursday am and pm times. I can often free up other times as well, upon request. NOTE: I am accepting only adults, ages 18 to 64 years. NOTE: I am offering only 1:1/individual therapy (no direct family or couples' sessions). NOTE: I do not engage in any court-ordered treatment. NOTE: I am interested in conducting therapy, not doing work-mandated, IEP, or other (e.g., Disability, Drug & Alcohol, or Mental Competency) evaluations. NOTE: Though an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor, I am not a Licensed Psychologist or a Psychiatrist. As such, I cannot conduct psychological testing or prescribe medications.

I am a resolute and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor with comprehensive experience supporting individuals through the challenges of recovery, grief, and life transitions. I specialize in outcome-driven strategies designed to alleviate psychological suffering and promote holistic health—mental, physical, and spiritual. By integrating evidence-based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), with a personalized approach, I help clients navigate life’s challenges, build sustainable coping skills, and foster lasting transformation. As a Gorski-Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist (ACRPS), I specialize in bringing a structured, evidence-based approach to preventing relapses and igniting lasting change for individuals assessed to have relapse syndrome. Additionally, I hold a Master's-Level Graduate Certificate in Grief Counseling, equipping me with the proficiency to guide clients through the complexities of loss with empathy and resilience. I provide LGBTQIA+-affirming and trauma-informed care, with a focus on creating a safe, culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic environment for clients of all identities. My approach respects and celebrates diversity, ensuring that care is not only inclusive but also deeply attuned to the unique challenges and strengths of LGBTQIA+ individuals. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, whether it be working one-on-one or in group settings, my therapeutic philosophy is grounded in integrity, insight, and an unwavering belief in everyone’s capacity for recovery and renewal. I empower clients to take an active role in their emotional well-being and recovery because healing is most effective when individuals are engaged collaborators in their journey toward growth and resilience.

Hi! I'm Amanda, LPC in Pennsylvania. I started my journey as a school counselor at a high school for 13 years and then transitioned into an outpatient facility. I enjoy working with teens, young adults, and adults as they navigate their lives. I love learning about and connecting with others. I help support individuals with adjusting to new situations, set boundaries, feel empowered, manage the demands of life, learn better coping and implement self-care. Together we can identify what's not working, explore thoughts, feelings, and core concerns, in order to create better balance.
