Naomi Rybalov
Hi! I’m Naomi, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and I truly enjoy helping people feel heard, understood, and supported. My background in case management has helped me appreciate how different areas of our lives impact our overall well-being, which is why I believe in looking at the whole person, not just what brings them to therapy.
Life gets messy sometimes, and you deserve a space where you don't have to pretend everything is okay.
I have experience working with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, life transitions, women's issues, self-esteem, ADHD, behavioral challenges, and building healthy coping skills. My goal is to create a comfortable, welcoming space where you can be yourself, feel free to talk openly, and know you won't be judged. I believe therapy is a team effort, and I'm here to meet you where you are and work alongside you as you navigate life's ups and downs and work toward becoming the best version of yourself.
First session
Your first session is simply a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what's been going on in your life, and I'll gather some background information to better understand your experiences. We'll also work together to create a treatment plan that feels right for you and your needs. You don't have to have everything figured out or share more than you're comfortable with. My goal is to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and heard. We'll take things one step at a time!
Strengths
I think one of my biggest strengths is my ability to connect with people and build relationships. I value teamwork and believe therapy is a collaborative process. I want my clients to feel that we are working together, that their voices matter, and that their goals are at the center of our work. I bring an open mind, compassion, and a willingness to learn from each person’s unique experiences.
Ideal clients
I enjoy working with all kinds of people and understand that everyone’s journey looks different. Whether you have something specific you want to work through or you're just trying to figure things out, there's no pressure to have all the answers. I want you to feel comfortable coming as you are, talking openly, and knowing that we'll take things one step at a time. My goal is to meet you where you are and make therapy feel like a space where you can just be yourself.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
We'll work together to better understand how your thoughts and feelings affect the way you see yourself and handle everyday situations. I'll help you recognize patterns that may be holding you back and explore different ways of looking at things. We'll find tools that work for you and your everyday life, at a pace that feels comfortable.
