Hello, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pennsylvania. I have been practicing for 10 years. I have experience in helping clients coping with grief and loss, parenting issues, motivation, self esteem, & depression. As a therapist I look forward to working with you on your goals. I let you take the lead, and gently guide you when needed. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started! I find satisfaction knowing that together we are helping you live a healthier, more mindful life. You are the only person you will always be with, and you should feel like your life is worth living.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, I will review your intake form, then we can dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help us create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. We will end the initial session with anything you want to discuss that has not already been brought up.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Through the experience I have developed a strong ability to assist individuals in solution-focused therapy. However, my biggest strength is that I genuinely care about our relationship through out your therapy experience. I want every one to live happy, health and fulfilled lives. We all struggle, have hard times, and make mistakes. That does not mean we should focus on these and punish ourselves. I want to help you feel empowered and develop skills that will help you get through your hard moments.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

I have used strength-based therapy in every job i have ever had. Each one of us has strengths. Working together we can explore your strengths to help you grow areas you may be struggling in.

Grief Therapy

I have over two years experience working as a bereavement counselor for Hospice. Grief is one of the hardest things you may go through. Your grief is a testament to the strong love you had. Grief looks different for everyone. I would love the chance to work with you to identify what your experience is, and how to ride the waves of grief.

Psychoeducation

Learning about what your symptoms are, how they affect you, how to manage them, and how to move forward is achievable through psychoeducation. Psychoeducation is used in conjunction with other treatment modalities.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

If you are looking to focus on the present moment and the future this would be a good approach we can use together. We can talk through what you are currently struggling with and create concrete goals to focus on so you feel accomplished through out therapy.
