Hello, and welcome! My introduction to the counseling field began while working within therapeutic group homes that served children through adults experiencing mental health struggles. This experience, both enriching and meaningful, inspired my interest in pursuing counseling. I was deeply moved by the varying degrees of challenging life experiences that we are all tasked with navigating and the ways we attempt to cope, gain insight from, and hopefully transform our adverse circumstances. I received my Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University and since, I’ve had the opportunity to assist a diverse range of clients in both inpatient treatment and outpatient therapy settings, and more recently, at a college counseling clinic at the University of Montana. Within these programs, I’ve helped clients address anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, academic challenges, relationships, identity changes, sexuality, and general life stressors.
I am grateful that I can work to help individuals navigate the evolving nature of their lives by providing unconditional positive regard, encouragement, and supportive guidance.
Hi there, my name is Mitch, and I am a licensed professional counselor.

Together, we can identify the challenges that are holding you back and help you to build the life that you deserve.
Therapy can be intimidating, so if you’ve decided to seek help, then you’ve made a brave choice, and I believe, a wise one. For that, I’d like to congratulate you. And whatever the reason you’re struggling to achieve your goals, I believe I can help. I have over 10 years of experience working with a wide range of individuals, including those who struggle with anxiety, depression, substance use, OCD behaviors, ADD/ADHD, PTSD, schizophrenia and borderline personality disorder.
In our therapy we’ll address your needs by drawing from an array of researched-based models, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavior therapy, trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing. You will feel safe, heard, and respected in our sessions, but also motivated and ultimately equipped to implement the changes you want to see in your life. I have witnessed the transformative power of therapy up close, and I know it can work for you. Let’s embark on this journey together!
Hi! I'm Suzanne and I've been a clinical social worker for over 30 years. I’m a warm and engaging therapist who believes that people are pretty much born with what they need to be healthy and happy-but get covered over and need help getting to that part of themselves. Therapy is like gently peeling back the layers of an onion to help you discover the answers. I don’t tell you what to do. I help you figure it for yourself!

Hi, I’m Julisa. I am a masters level Licensed Professional Counselor, practicing remotely in Rhode Island and Pennsylvania. As a Philadelphia native and person of color, I am driven by my desire to provide healthy representation of breaking generational trauma. I aim to get rid of stigmas related to seeking professional help. I am passionate about using my 11 years of experience to help clients feel genuinely seen, without judgement. I believe that everyone is doing their best at any given time and are motivated to be the best version of themselves possible, although that does not mean that we always know how to get there. Having a therapeutic relationship with a trusted therapist can provide a safe place to process difficult emotions, help identify patterns of thinking and behavior that no longer serve us, or outline goals for the future and develop a plan of action.

Fulfilling our potential is a lifelong journey of becoming more at peace with ourselves, deepening the intimacy in our relationships, being more authentically human, and feeling more alive each day. Along the way, certain challenges arise to cause us distress or confusion. Such moments can make us feel held back, afraid, or unsure of where to go from here. But these moments can also be the points of growth and healing from which we renew ourselves in ways we did not think possible.
It is a great privilege helping men and women in their search to improve their relationship with themselves and others, to lessen the burden of emotional pain, to experience freedom from addictions, or to embark on new life challenges - to find the hope and courage needed to take those important next steps.
I have been practicing since 2014 and have worked in a variety of contexts within the scope of therapy- ranging from children, couple's work, adults, teenagers, and the aging population. I deliver an authentic approach to therapy that punctuates the importance of the relationship between client and therapist as the primary mechanism for change. I believe all clients deserve to be met with dignity and respect and try to convey that in sessions.
It is a pleasure and privilege to be invited into someone’s life journey. I am very passionate and dedicated in honoring one’s personal story. Whether you are facing a challenging and stressful time, facing a traumatic experience, an unexpected change, managing stress and anxiety, or need to make change, we can work together to make life’s transitions smoother and more rewarding. I have worked in mental health for 15 years, hold a doctorate in Education Leadership and Management, and a second Masters in Special Education. I have been practicing in mental heath for 15 years and have worked with a wide range of clients.
I enjoy working with a diverse clientele and assisting with the development of skills surrounding issues such as anxiety, depression and conflict resolution. I am well-versed in a variety of approaches and cater that approach to best assist the client I am working with in each circumstance.
I have specialized training in substance abuse and mental health as well as in psychodrama. I have worked with clients struggling with substance abuse and dual diagnoses for over ten years, and have a great deal of experience working with clients who struggle with mood and adjustment disorders.
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 12 years of experience. I specialize in working with adults who are navigating both mental health challenges and substances use concerns - often at the same time. This is commonly referred to as dual diagnosis, but as its core, it means caring for the whole person rather than treatment symptoms in isolation.

Hi, I’m Julie — I’m glad you’re here.
Anxiety and depression touch so many of our lives in ways that can feel overwhelming: spiraling thoughts that won’t quiet down, a racing heartbeat, sleepless nights, or pulling away in social situations. These struggles don’t just affect our inner world — they can also add stress and strain to our relationships with coworkers, friends, and family.
In therapy, I help people untangle these patterns so they can feel more present, connected, and grounded. When our minds are constantly caught up in the past or worried about the future, it’s hard to truly experience life as it’s happening. Together, we’ll work on practical tools and deeper understanding so you can find more peace, balance, and fulfillment in your day-to-day life.
Hello!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained my degree from Marywood University’s Graduate School of Social Work. I completed my undergraduate education at Cedar Crest College, with dual majors in Psychology and Sociology. I have provided counseling in many settings including the geriatric, non-profit and healthcare fields, for over 18 years. I also hold post-graduate certificates in Gerontology, and Palliative/End of Life Care. I am pursuing my doctorate in social work in a program through Kutztown University.
I believe in building a solid therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy and respect using a variety of techniques, and building from a strengths-based perspective to help foster understanding, coping and change. My eclectic therapeutic techniques often include CBT, transformational and psychodynamic approaches, individualized in relation to each client’s need and provided through a trauma informed lens. I am experienced in individual, family, and group counseling.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. My hope is to provide a safe, nonjudgemental environment for you to discover yourself and to start on the road to healing. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!
Best,
Christina

My own journey has allowed me to have a greater understanding of life’s unexpected challenges. This experience has allowed me to more humble and understanding of my clients. I have also developed creativity and problem solving skills that enhanced the counseling experience
My name is Graham Maxey. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1983, after graduating from the University of Houston/Clear Lake with a Master of Arts in Behavioral Science. I had noticed for many years that the primary problems people experienced in life were mainly due to living in a space of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that were "too small" to accommodate their well-being or their enjoyment in living. My goal as a counselor has always been to help clients "widen" the spaces they live in and let them have fuller access to all that their lives actually can provide for them.
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or simply looking for support in navigating life’s challenges? This is more common than you might think. You’ve already taken an important first step by being here.
I’m Lance, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and doctoral candidate with over ten years of experience helping people find balance, clarity, and practical strategies for managing life’s ups and downs. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, creating a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore solutions that work for your life.
Welcome, I’m Ben, a licensed counselor in Pennsylvania. I’m passionate about helping individuals heal, grow, and regain a sense of balance in their lives. My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each person’s unique story.
I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, helping them find safety, empowerment, and hope through the healing process. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and person-centered therapy to tailor treatment to each client’s needs.
I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and offer EMDR therapy virtually, providing clients with an effective way to process traumatic experiences and reduce distressing symptoms from the comfort of their own space.
While trauma work is a key focus, I welcome clients from all backgrounds and walks of life. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, I aim to create a supportive environment where you can explore, heal, and grow at your own pace.

Hi, My name is Dr. Sister Marian Mikhail Doctorate of Min., L.C.P.C. Advanced, PhD Clinical Pastoral Counseling, M.Div., LMHC, LPC, M.A. Rel. Ed. I am a licensed therapist in New York and New Jersey with 5 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, & career difficulties. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
I strive to help find relief and lasting change within even the first session or two. This begins with the retainable concept of 2 simultaneous paths for clients...
1- How can clients ADDRESS, or take action to remedy or lessen, the sources of their struggles?
2- How clients COPE in effective healthy ways?
Addressing and coping are central in my work.
It's like having a hornet's nest outside the front door of your home. At times, it's needed to cope with it by using a different door, putting ice on your stings, or allowing yourself a pause from taking on this trouble and finding some respite. Otherwise, it is needed to address the hornet's nest and identify and take action on what is under your control to do about it.
Greetings, my name is John Luke. I am a licensed clinical social worker and specialize in helping people to effectively manage anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns using cognitive behavioral techniques. I have worked with a range of populations, nearly all ages, and also have experience with addiction treatment and life-coaching. I work with people to develop insight into the source of their problems, how their core beliefs about the world might be hindering their progress, and focus on their natural strengths to overcome those barriers with practical skills that generate sustainable change. Some of my other specialties include short-term, solution-focused therapy; cognitive behavioral therapy techniques; psychodynamic approaches; and marital counseling.
Some of the problems I am particularly keen on solving with my clients include issues with self-image and confidence; dating and relationships; boundary-setting and assertive communication; as well as general anxiety management; and learning to identify and productively resolve emotional unrest. I am also very experienced in cognitive restructuring, which is just a fancy way of saying helping to change the way a person thinks about the world and their place in it. I also enjoy aiding people in goal setting and identification, meaning-making, and navigating family conflicts. If you feel any of this could be helpful or useful to you, please do not hesitate to reach out!
(Note: I do work with couples, but only on a cash-pay basis. Also, I only work with ages 18+)

Sudden life changes such as the loss of a loved one, the death of a pet, or diagnosis with a chronic or debilitating disease, are hard to handle. Being a caregiver for a loved one who has a chronic or terminal illness can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience; but it also comes with stresses that can be hard for friends and family to understand. Being a person who needs help to manage day to day activities of living can also be difficult, even if the help is appreciated. Illness, loss of mobility, reduced independence, physical and emotional pain can change your relationship with others and with yourself. Even positive life transitions such as retirement, promotions, or reprioritizing your work/life balance to focus on what matters, can be stressful. Whatever changes you are going through can impact your ability to find meaning, a sense of purpose, or hope in your life. Whether you have always struggled with feelings of depression and anxiety, or they have come as a result of these changes in your life, I believe therapy can help.
I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2004, and am currently offering individual therapy via telehealth for clients in Pennsylvania. I have lived experience with chronic illness, disability, and remote caregiving. I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community and a survivor of suicide. I bring all of this professional and personal experience to my practice.

My name is Cindy Kropp. I am a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in providing compassionate, trauma-informed, mental health care for individuals seeking a more balanced and emotionally healthy way of living.
I am trained to provide individual therapy for older teens, young adults and seniors trying to navigate through their own stressors and discomfort related to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions and alcohol misuse and abuse.
Utilizing a strength-based and relational approach, and with a trauma-informed lens, a solid and client centered foundation is built between the client and I as the therapeutic process unfolds.
From there, I work collaboratively with individuals to set goals while also exploring her/his own thoughts and feelings as related to the challenges and struggles in their own lives.
This work is achieved through the integration of cognitive behavioral therapy strategies, narrative therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction.
As we work through this therapeutic process together, clients are able to identify how their own hopes and dreams of living a more peaceful, happy and abundant life can become a reality.
I believe all individuals have worth and value and need to have an opportunity to make life what they have always imagined!
