My name is Dzana Saynes, DM, MS, LPC, CADC, EMDR clinician with a Lithuanian upbringing and accent. My belief is that a unique approach to life changes, and difficulties can be accomplished through cooperative engagements by starting conversations. What to expect during the first therapy session? Intake sessions consist of information unique to your situation, family, and what you expect from therapy. We will discuss what are your expectations from treatment, set goals, and measure the progress of the session making sure you get the most from therapy. I feel it's important to allow yourself to recognize your strengths, and accomplishments by talking about all of that. I do accept self-pay, same weekly appointments available! Thank you! See you in session! Sincerely Dzana
In our first session we will set expectations, discuss challenges, we will start with brief introductions, set goals for the next 90 days.
In 2020 in addition to providing individual therapy, I loved conducting group telehealth therapy, I do remember positive outcomes when the pandemic started, and I felt as a beginner in telehealth groups with community agencies to help clients with Stress Management skills to balance lives during stressful times. My client says “Dzana is encouraging. She genuinely likes helping others. She makes things interesting. Over 25 years of Clinical experience.
DBT is my favourite treatments methods due to practical coping skills, wealth of availably tools to work on Your self. In the beginning of treatment we will work on establishing basics, and practice skills as a form of homework. Therapy approach will be followed by building skills you need to increase functioning, self-worth. We build together a plan that works with incorporation of your strengths, talents to become best self! See you in session!
