New to Grow
Hi, my name is Laura, a person-centered and trauma-informed therapist who believes in the power of authentic connection and self-discovery. My approach is holistic, grounded in understanding the full context of your life—mind, body, and spirit. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where you can unpack what feels heavy, explore patterns, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been silenced or overlooked.
Our first session is about connection and curiosity. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you hope to find or feel differently. I’ll also share more about how I work so we can decide together what feels like the right pace and focus. My goal is for you to leave our first meeting feeling heard, understood, and supported—with a clearer sense of what this therapeutic journey might look like for you.
I strive to create a calm, supportive space where clients feel truly heard and cared for. I value being present, curious, and responsive, meeting each person where they are. Clients have shared that our work together helps them feel more at ease and confident, which I see as a reflection of the trust we build in therapy. My approach is trauma-informed and holistic, focusing on understanding each person’s story with empathy and helping them move toward growth, balance, and self-connection at a pace that feels safe.
I work best with adults who are ready to deepen their self-awareness and move toward growth, even if they’re unsure where to start. Many of my clients come to me navigating trauma, self-esteem struggles, relationship challenges, anxiety, or life transitions. They may feel stuck or disconnected from themselves, yet hold a quiet hope that change is possible. Together, we work to turn that hope into a tangible path forward—one step, one insight, one shift at a time.
