Hi ! I'm Bianca. I specialize in treating addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression and personality disorders. I take a strengths-based approach and will work with you to identify your main areas of concern and we will tackle them one by one. I take a real-world approach to today's problems and believe the therapeutic alliance between myself & the client is the most important thing needed to get you to living your best life. I am genuine and able to easily build rapport with clients.
We will get to know each other, identify your goals and develop a collaborative treatment plan for therapy moving forward. I believe clients are the experts on themselves and seek to know what YOU want to work on. I do not come into therapy with any preconceived notions of what I believe your treatment goals should be.
I'm able to get clients results and have had many tell me though working with me, they've been able to decrease self-harm, increase self-awareness, and decrease trauma symptoms. I am able to really meet clients where they are in their life, build strong rapport and am collaborative in my approach.
I specialize in working with those impacted by trauma, addiction, anxiety & depression. I also have experience working with Borderline Personality Disorder and dissociative disorders. I am able to aid clients in developing their own treatment plan goals for therapy and inspire them to be their best selves by taking a strengths-based approach.
I assist clients in decreasing negative thinking patterns to help them improve their quality of life via teaching them how to challenge those thoughts and come up with more positive thought schemas.
I am certified in DBT. I assist clients in utilizing it via teaching them distress tolerance skills such as radical acceptance and TIPP skills to help decrease emotional vulnerability and assist in decreasing self-harm.
I utilize trauma-informed care with my clients via recognizing their unique experiences and circumstances and helping them peel the onion layers back to process trauma in a safe place while empowering them by giving them the tools to be able to cope with flashbacks and symptoms.
