I am an LCSW with a private practice in NY and CT. I have earned a BA in Psychology and an MSW in Clinical Social Work, both from New York University. I have over 20 years of experience working with children and adults of all ages with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, strength based and mindfulness approaches.
I am a psychologist that is licensed in Florida and New York with 11 years of experience in the field. I have worked as a school psychologist, trauma-informed postdoctoral resident and a clinical psychologist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, executive functioning deficits, relationship difficulties, school issues, parenting struggles and career challenges. I also helped many people who have experienced trauma and/or abuse.
My counseling style is empathetic and warm. I believe in treating anyone with compassion, understanding and openness and I don't believe in the stigmatization of clinical diagnoses. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, and integrated theory. I will tailor our treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
