I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides a supportive, collaborative space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves. My approach is practical and individualized, with a focus on understanding patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, relationship concerns, and emotional regulation challenges.

First session

My goal for the first session is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you can share what brought you to therapy at your own pace. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what you hope to gain from therapy, and begin identifying areas you’d like to work on. I want you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we can move forward together.

Strengths

I bring warmth, curiosity, and a practical, nonjudgmental approach to therapy. I believe in truly listening while also asking thoughtful questions and gently challenging patterns when it can help a client grow. My behavioral background allows me to help clients understand not only what they are feeling, but what may be maintaining certain patterns and how we can work toward meaningful, realistic change.

Ideal clients

My ideal client may be struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, or feeling stuck in patterns they want to change. I enjoy working with clients who want to better understand themselves and are open to exploring how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence their everyday lives. Together, we can identify realistic changes that feel manageable and meaningful to you.

Treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe therapy should be tailored to you as an individual. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can openly explore your experiences, emotions, and concerns. I’ll meet you where you are, listen to what matters most to you, and work collaboratively with you toward the changes you want to make.

Strength-Based

I help clients recognize the strengths, skills, and resilience they already have, even when those qualities may be difficult to see. We’ll build on what is already working while identifying ways to use those strengths to navigate challenges, build confidence, and make meaningful changes.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, or feeling stuck and explore more helpful ways of responding. I focus on practical strategies that clients can apply to situations in their everyday lives.
