New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping individuals heal, grow, and reconnect with a sense of purpose and peace. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions by using a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and faith-based approaches when desired. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered to build healthier patterns, strengthen your sense of self, and move forward with confidence.
In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can begin to share what’s bringing you to therapy at your own pace. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant background, and what you’re hoping to gain from our work together. I may ask some questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and needs, but there is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with. We’ll also review important information such as confidentiality, expectations for therapy, and any questions you may have. By the end of the session, we’ll begin to identify initial goals and discuss how we can work together in a way that feels supportive and aligned with you. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and a little more at ease about the process.
My greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and heard. I bring a balance of empathy and clinical skill, helping clients gently explore difficult emotions while also guiding them toward practical, meaningful change. I am especially attentive to each client’s unique story, tailoring my approach to meet their individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all method. What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the way I integrate evidence-based practices like CBT with mindfulness and, when desired, faith-based support. This allows for a more holistic healing experience—addressing not only thoughts and behaviors, but also emotional, spiritual, and internal alignment. Clients often find that through our work together, they gain greater clarity, improved coping skills, stronger self-awareness, and a deeper sense of peace and empowerment in their daily lives.
I am best positioned to serve individuals who are seeking emotional healing, personal growth, and a deeper sense of connection—both within themselves and, if meaningful to them, in their faith. My ideal clients are often navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or relationship difficulties, and may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. I work especially well with clients who are open to self-reflection and motivated to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns. Many of the individuals I support are looking to build healthier coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, strengthen self-worth, and develop more balanced thinking. I also serve clients who value a holistic approach to healing, including those who wish to integrate mindfulness or faith-based perspectives into their therapeutic journey. Ultimately, my goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to move toward greater clarity, peace, and purpose in their lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my practice, I use principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I support clients in identifying unhelpful or distorted thinking patterns and guide them in reframing these thoughts into more balanced, realistic perspectives. I also incorporate practical coping strategies and skill-building exercises to help clients manage symptoms, improve emotional regulation, and build confidence in their daily functioning.
Faith based therapy
In my practice, I incorporate faith-based therapy by integrating spiritual principles, particularly rooted in my Christian faith, to support emotional healing and personal growth. I help clients explore their relationship with God, use prayer and scripture as sources of comfort and guidance, and align therapeutic goals with their spiritual values. This approach allows clients to find deeper meaning in their experiences, strengthen their identity, and draw on their faith as a source of resilience, hope, and restoration.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
In my practice, I incorporate mindfulness-based therapy to help clients become more present, aware, and grounded in their daily lives. I guide clients in developing awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations without judgment, which helps reduce reactivity and increase emotional regulation. I use techniques such as breathing exercises, body scans, and guided mindfulness practices to support stress reduction, improve focus, and promote a greater sense of calm and balance.
