I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of diverse experience and I continue to evolve in new treatment models.
In my approach to individual therapy, I utilize treatment methods such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused and Strength Perspectives.
First session
In our first session, you will learn more about me as a therapist and my style. I will provide a brief introduction about myself and will ask for the same. During the session, we will dive into why you booked the appointment. I will ask you about goals and expectations for therapy.
Strengths
I believe in building individuals gradually by offering a safe space as they enter a judgment-free zone. I want to know more about you, and I also want you to know me better. If I seem like a good match for you, I encourage you to believe that one step further and get started with your therapy with me.
Ideal clients
As a therapist, I create a warm, supportive, compassionate environment in sessions for my adults. Everyone needs a safe place with no judgment zone. I provide supportive, motivational, professional, and encouraging therapy to help and guide you to live your life better.
Treatment methods
Daialectical Behavior (DBT)
In individual therapy sessions, the client and I work one-on-one to set and achieve treatment goals, address specific behavioral patterns, and learn new coping skills.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I work with clients to understand their specific concerns, symptoms, and goals for therapy. I use assessment tools to gather information about the client's thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and underlying beliefs.
Christian Counseling
Faith-based- My approach is compassionate, supportive, and tailored to each client’s needs. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can express difficult emotions, make sense of their loss, and learn healthy ways to cope. I use evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, supportive therapy, and meaning-making.
Grief Therapy
I provide grief therapy to individuals who are coping with the death of a loved one, major life transitions, relationship loss, and other significant changes. I understand that grief is deeply personal and does not follow a specific timeline.
