New to Grow
I value the privilege of hearing how your personal journey has impacted you and how you are endorsing your own efforts to deal with adversity. I seek a genuine, empathetic, & trauma informed narrative approach to helping people who may experience barriers relating to depression, anxiety, and/or PTSD. I believe in asking open value based questions that may nurture your self awareness & help clarify your most meaningful intentions for personal change. I integrate treatment modalities of narrative therapy, solution based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
I will seek to have a gentle getting to know your conversation and hear your goals for therapy. I will seek to assure you how I can assist your needs & treatment goals.
I have a strong value to provide empathetic and down to earth responses while integrating in skills/strategies to support your needs/goals.
I identify as

Each person comes to counseling to create their own personal change focus with help from their personal strengths, values, beliefs, supportive resources, and personal goals & aspirations.
Trauma Informed Care

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Build secure thoughts and actions that support your "best self": “Watch your thoughts; they become your words. Watch your words; they become your actions. Watch your actions; they become your habits. Watch your habits; they become your character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.” — Quote by Frank Outlaw (20th-century American writer)
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
A toolbox to support mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
