Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based out of upstate NY. I received my masters from Temple University and have been practicing in the field for about 10 years. Seeking help never seems easy at first. After stepping into a comfortable and nurturing environment you’ll soon start to feel the weight come off your shoulders. Creating a safe space for you to process your feelings, thoughts, and traumas is important to me. Your story is yours and I understand the courage it takes to share it with me. You are the expert of your experience and therefore my approach is to empower you through authenticity.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

It’s an opportunity for us to start building a collaborative partnership and to set the stage for effective and meaningful work together. We will work on building a rapport, completing assessments to identify your needs, identify goals, and strengths. Together through a collaborative approach we can explore your personal strengths, uncover grit and resilience, and learn ways to cope through the human experience.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I can be particularly effective in creating a dynamic and engaging therapeutic process. I work to find balance between being boldness and willing to challenge clients with deep sense of empathy and understanding.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Implementing CBT principles can lead to meaningful changes in how you think, feel, and behave, contributing to overall well-being and improved mental health.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

By incorporating ACT principles, clients can build a more flexible approach to their thoughts and feelings, leading to a more meaningful and fulfilling life in alignment with their values.

Collaborative Management and Assessment of Suicidality (CAMS)

The CAMS framework focuses on understanding and addressing the specific reasons behind a person's suicidal thoughts and behaviors, rather than just the symptoms. The approach is collaborative and involves working closely with the client to develop a personalized safety plan.

Eclectic

The eclectic model in therapy refers to a flexible approach that combines elements from various therapeutic modalities and techniques, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Unlike a single theoretical framework, the eclectic model allows therapists to draw on different theories and methods to address a client's specific issues and goals.
