Hello and Welcome!
I am a social worker who has been in the field for over 20 years. Early in my career, I was fortunate enough to work with a psychiatrist who believed there was more to treating mental health than medication. I participated in a training with him and I was transformed as a therapist. I was trained in the relaxation response and mindfulness meditation and using the body to help heal people who have had significant trauma and mental health challenges. From there, I went on to get my yoga teaching certification from Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Since then, I have been helping children, adolescents and adults learn more about themselves and help them connect with the truest part of themselves. I believe my purpose is to help people learn to love themselves.
I lived in CA for a long time and still hold my LCSW license. I was fortunate enough to study with a number of teachers at Spirit Rock Meditation Center who have influenced my work. I blend a number of different frameworks into my practice including trauma-informed CBT, DBT, somatic psychotherapy and self-compassion.
I am mindful and respectful of all differences (racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, economic, gender, sexual orientation, ability etc.) and strive to understand each person within the context of their life history.
Every person who seeks treatment has unique needs and goals. I strive to work collaboratively with you to keep your goals at the center of our work together.
I stand in solidarity with the BIPOC community and all those impacted by systemic racism and oppression. I will uphold my own values and ethics and support all those who are speaking out against injustice of any kind. As a therapist, I am committed to creating a safe space for all.

Tired of reading bios? I would be too, so I'll keep it short:
I graduated from UPenn 10+ years ago with a Master's in Social Work. I have experience working in almost every setting you could imagine.
I specialize in making people feel comfortable, safe, and validated. I specialize in treating my clients like they matter, are important & are worthy, no matter what they look like, sound like, or "seem" like. I'm also an expert in being a real human being and not a robot with automated responses who will "mhmm" you to death.
My "approach" is understanding that I can't expect you to expose the deepest, darkest, most vulnerable parts of yourself to me if I remain a complete stranger to you. In our sessions, I want you to feel like you're with one of your best friends who you can trust, laugh and ugly-cry with.
My only goal is to make you feel like you're not alone. Like you have someone in your corner who will fight for you, laugh with you, curse with you, and ugly-cry with you (I'm totally kidding, kinda, that part's negotiable).
I am not accepting new clients for couples sessions at this time.
Are you experiencing challenges with intimacy, sexuality, or relationships? Navigating personal and relational difficulties alone can be daunting and leave you feeling overwhelmed. As a certified sex therapist, I specialize in working with clients who are experiencing concerns with intimacy, relationships, sexual trauma recovery, intimate partner violence recovery, sexuality, pain, sexual and religious shame, and relationship transitions such as separation, divorce, co-parenting, dating.
**Daytime availability only for new clients at this time**
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. I'm a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, curiosity, and support. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, and I believe that you are the expert in your own experience, and my role is to help guide and support you in reaching your goals.
I bring a holistic lens to therapy, recognizing the connection between mental health, physical health, and environment. I consider the whole person (not just symptoms) when working toward healing.
I'm a licensed clinical social worker providing compassionate, evidence‑based mental health therapy through secure telehealth sessions. I offer a warm affirming space for you to show up for yourself. I operate from a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, social justice lens to help make visible the dynamics of power and oppression that act on us. My approach is collaborative and client‑centered — I believe healing begins when you feel safe, understood, and empowered in your own growth.
My name is Beth Rivet and I love hearing people's stories and helping them feel better about themselves! I have been therapist for 25 plus years and I want to help you! I have worked with clients of all different backgrounds with many different traumas and situations. Whatever is preventing you from moving forward in your life- that is what we need to figure out and sort out. I want to help my clients identify negative thoughts and maladaptive behavior patterns and understand the day to day impact. Understanding what you can and can't change is part of this equation as is recognizing how your thoughts impact your feelings about yourself and those around you.
I want you to be the best version of yourself that you can be and I would love to help you find your way there. Promoting self esteem and self confidence by teaching positive coping skills, mindfulness, psycho-education, and self regulation are an essential part of my practice. I hope you will be brave and take that difficult first step to make a positive change in your life. I would love to be your partner in this endeavor. I can't wait to meet you!
Well hello there! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida and licensed in both Florida and Massachusetts. I have an additional specialty in Pain Reprocessing Therapy from The Pain Psychology Center helping clients struggling with Neuroplastic pain. I draw from a humanistic and person-centered approach to provide a personalized therapeutic experience. Hi! I'm a LCMHCS, LPCS, LCAS, CCS based in North Carolina and practicing in NC, SC, GA, TX, AZ, MA, ME, RI, NH and US VI. I received my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University and two Masters from Webster University in Counseling and Health Administration. I have been practicing for over 20 years and enjoy working with a diverse population of people. I have several areas of expertise and enjoy using them to support my clients in their overall life goals and plans for success.
I've been blessed to have wonderful professional positions throughout my career (see roderickhaferphd.com). Most recently I was Vice-Chair of the Psychiatry Department at the University of Wisconsin. I enjoy working with all client presentations and believe that the "connection" with those I treat is critical to therapy success. I think a 15 to 30 minute free consultation would be the best approach to determine "our fit" in working together.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping others realize their wholeness and healing through evidence based, trauma informed care. My background is in craniosacral therapy, somatic emotional release, and crisis intervention. I take a holistic person centered approach to therapy, which acknowledges that mental health is influenced by the interconnectedness of a person's physical health, emotional state, social connection and spiritual belief.
I'm self aware, having chosen a pathway of self exploration to become my best self. I am a survivor of my story, who has always known the importance of never surrendering to any situation life hands me. My resilience and positivity have guided my decisions to choose fighting like hell to be the greatest version of myself. I love laughter, and always make sure to not take myself to seriously. I live passionately with growing self esteem as a result of having the highest priority on SELF LOVE. I am a natural empath having helped many clients to navigate through their hurdles, with much success. My treatment approach will always require my clients to be prepared for the action phase of their journey. Many clients that I have mentored with eating compulsions have had favorable outcomes as a result of our therapeutic relationship. I am a survivor of acting out with food, including a period of 17 years of battling bulimia, and a lifetime of searching for PEACE from the addiction of food. Since October 2004 I have lived in recovery, with no episodes of bulimic behaviors, and a healthy relationship with food beyond my wildest dreams. I have found the PEACE I have been searching for which motivates me to help others to live in a healthy body. I have shared this struggle to allow you a deeper understanding of my personal story. I believe everything I have survived have taught me life lessons that have allowed me to see the humanity within all those that I cross paths with, keeping me non-judgemental, and filled with humility. I have the skills to help you too, I believe that is why I'm here.

Hi there. I'm Steve. I specialize in relationships of all kinds, especially romantic/intimate/sexual and including ethical nonmonogamy (ENM). I believe living in the world today means the demands for your attention are often relentless, sometimes making you overwhelmed, stuck, or feeling like you've lost touch. Think of therapy as a place where you and I show up for YOU—for that very blessed being you get to be, this whole life. In turn, this helps all your relationships thrive, which again, helps you thrive too!
We all have a natural drive to adapt, learn, and grow, and we do so in relationships—with ourselves, with others, with ideas and values, and with the world. You and I will listen closely—from where you are right now—to help reconnect you to your innate tendency to grow and change in desired ways. This may very well mean tolerating more friction and tension at first. It’s alright. You will get more comfortable with being uncomfortable. Over time, knowing how you feel, think, and act—right here and now—will help you make better choices, recharge your sense of well-being, and enliven your relationships.
I am a fully Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in California, Florida, Oregon, and Massachusetts. I see clients online and in-person in the Boston area.
If you've made it this far, I know it wasn't easy. To make the decision to seek out help, no matter the reason, takes time and thought.
I have been in the behavioral health/mental health field for 15 years now specializing in healthcare management and behavioral health optimization. I know first hand that in order to get the most out of your long term therapeutic relationship you first have to take care of the other medical and psychosocial factors in your life. This may mean getting connected to a primary care physician best suited for you or finding a home care agency that can help out around the house. We all have things that take up space in our mind and schedules that make it hard to fully focus on the work it takes to fully feel better. Connect with me before long term therapy to help in these care management areas. We will work shorter term to manage some of these more pressing matters so your mind is clearer and better positioned to do some of the deeper work.
