Hi! I'm a licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience working in schools, primary care, outpatient, and CBHI settings. I work with clients navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, etc. I often rely on a CBT-based approach to help you better understand the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how that may impact mental health. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative and safe space for healing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I like to take the time to build rapport and really understand your goals for therapy. I think it's important to collaborate together on a treatment plan early on.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I offer a warm, supportive approach that includes evidence-based techniques. I think it's important to be human and to work with you to figure out the best strategies or tools that make sense for you and your needs.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Young adults and older looking for support to help manage anxiety/depression, stress management, ADHD, life transitions, parenting concerns (i.e., parenting a child with ADHD, anxiety/depression, school-based concerns, etc.). Someone open to exploring the connection between their thoughts/feelings/behaviors and/or looking for additional resources, tools, and evidenced-based strategies to try. Open to processing as well as problem-solving together in session. Feel free to message me if you have further questions about whether or not we would be a good fit!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I did my graduate studies at the Aaron T Beck Institute for Cognitive Studies at Assumption, which focused on the use of CBT to treat various mental health disorders. I think it's important to understand the relationship between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how it can impact our mental health.

Strength-Based

I think it's important to use my client's personal strengths to help them accomplish their goals for treatment

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I believe ACT can be a helpful tool to help us accept difficult thoughts and feelings and steps to manage them that are also in line with our personal values
