Hi, I'm Jada, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I've worked in inpatient psychiatry, done crisis intervention, and spent years in outpatient therapy, so I've sat with people through everything from everyday stress to full-blown crises, including LGBTQ individuals navigating identity, acceptance, and the unique challenges that can come with it. If there's one thing that's taught me, it's that healing looks different for everyone. There's no single formula that works for all of us, and I recognize that minorities and marginalized folks often carry experiences and stressors that deserve to be seen and understood, not overlooked.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe to be honest, understood without judgment and supported as you navigate life's challenges. My practice is warm, collaborative and centered around helping you better understand yourself and create meaningful change at your own pace. I strive to create a space where you can explore your thoughts and experiences openly, while feeling supported throughout the process.

I'm looking forward to working with you to support your goals and enhance your overall well-being. My approach draws on evidence-based therapeutic practices to help individuals better understand their emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.
The primary approaches I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). CBT focuses on identifying and challenging unhelpful or distorted thought patterns to improve emotional well-being and promote healthier behaviors. DBT emphasizes building practical skills in four key areas: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
I have experience working with adults facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and co-occurring substance use disorders. I bring an authentic and nonjudgmental attitude to my practice and offer a more conversational counseling style. I create a safe and comfortable space for my clients to process their feelings and determine if their behaviors are aligned with their goals. I help clients improve emotional regulation and develop coping skills.
I was drawn into the counseling field from a very early age, always curious about people, their relationships, ideas people embrace, choices they make. How do we solve problems or sometimes find them beyond our wisdom and imagination to solve? Even when we do our very best, sometimes we can’t seem to get it right. That can feel overwhelming and finding a way out can seem impossible. A warm and listening heart can be a big help providing the support needed to find our way again. With over 40 years of experience, I have helped a wide variety of people with many concerns.
I have been a therapist for over 25 years. I have a Master's in Social Work and a Master's in Education. I am also a certified Pet Bereavement Specialist. I am very flexible with scheduling. I am looking forward to meeting with people in my office

***FALL 2026 NEW CLIENTS***: New Clients should have daytime, flexible hours or be well enough to be seen occasionally or short term, with a possibility of tapering in. Hey! I'm a Licenced Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing telehealth services in several states. I have worked in mental health since 2010 and have been in private practice for 3 years. My name is David Mancuso, and at the heart of my work is a belief that every person carries an untold story—one shaped by survival, family dynamics, unspoken pain, and the longing to feel whole. I help clients reconnect with the parts of themselves they’ve had to silence in order to function. My approach blends depth-oriented psychotherapy with a direct, grounded style that invites honesty, clarity, and personal evolution.
I draw from years of clinical practice, trauma-informed training, attachment theory, and my own lived experiences navigating complex family systems. Because of that background, I understand what it means to rebuild a self from the inside out. Clients often come to me during moments of transition, emotional exhaustion, identity confusion, or relational upheaval. They stay because our work helps them find their center again.
While I bring a calm and steady presence, I also show up with real engagement. I don’t sit back passively—I’m interactive, reflective, and attuned to the subtle patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate. Therapy with me is an active process of reconnecting with your original self, strengthening your internal structure, and learning to move through the world with more confidence, emotional clarity, and integrity.
Above all, I care deeply about the people I work with. My intention is to offer a space where you feel understood, supported, and challenged in meaningful ways—so you can step into a more grounded, connected, and empowered version of yourself.

Hello and Welcome!
I am a social worker who has been in the field for over 20 years. Early in my career, I was fortunate enough to work with a psychiatrist who believed there was more to treating mental health than medication. I participated in a training with him and I was transformed as a therapist. I was trained in the relaxation response and mindfulness meditation and using the body to help heal people who have had significant trauma and mental health challenges. From there, I went on to get my yoga teaching certification from Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Since then, I have been helping children, adolescents and adults learn more about themselves and help them connect with the truest part of themselves. I believe my purpose is to help people learn to love themselves.
I lived in CA for a long time and still hold my LCSW license. I was fortunate enough to study with a number of teachers at Spirit Rock Meditation Center who have influenced my work. I blend a number of different frameworks into my practice including trauma-informed CBT, DBT, somatic psychotherapy and self-compassion.
I am mindful and respectful of all differences (racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, economic, gender, sexual orientation, ability etc.) and strive to understand each person within the context of their life history.
Every person who seeks treatment has unique needs and goals. I strive to work collaboratively with you to keep your goals at the center of our work together.
I stand in solidarity with the BIPOC community and all those impacted by systemic racism and oppression. I will uphold my own values and ethics and support all those who are speaking out against injustice of any kind. As a therapist, I am committed to creating a safe space for all.
