I loved meeting Raven today and really appreciated her good humor, open-mindedness and kindness, and knowledge about some of the topics I’m wanting to uncover and address in my life, specifically ADHD. I’m looking forward to working with Raven in future sessions!

My life has improved so much for the better after consistently meeting with Raven. I decided to give therapy another shot after having an in-person provider that I could just not communicate well with, nor relate to. I always leave with something that I can implement to move me toward my goals and toward the person I am striving to become.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using CBT for more than 15 years. CBT is a widely used therapeutic approach that focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I use it to assist clients with connecting their thoughts, behaviors, and feelings. It operates on the premise that our thoughts and beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world around us directly influence our emotions and actions. The goal of CBT is to identify and challenge negative or unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, replacing them with more adaptive and constructive ones.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a therapeutic approach that emphasizes acceptance of thoughts and feelings, mindfulness, and commitment to actions aligned with personal values. As a therapist I implement ACT in their practice with most clients. ACT allows me to use value clarification, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment, and behavioral activation.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a comprehensive therapeutic approach developed to treat individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns. DBT consists of four main modules: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. I have used DBT for more than 5 years.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a collaborative, goal-oriented approach to counseling that is designed to elicit and strengthen a person's intrinsic motivation for change. As a therapist and coach I have used MI for more than 15 years. I use MI to building rapport and trust, create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel respected, understood, and supported. IM is helpful in exploring ambivalence, soliciting change talk, and more
