Greetings and salutations. I am, James Howard, your Licensed Clinician that will be assisting you on your journey to Maslow's Self-actualization (Trust me, you'll understand the reference later.) I sit in the Therapeutic counseling chair not by chance, but by hard earned life experiences and a great deal of studying that I look to enrich my clients with to help them find their mental peace and balance to a life that is rancorous and boisterous. I earned my Master’s Graduate Degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2020, graduating with honors from Bowie State University in the top 1 percent of the class and currently am doctoral candidate. I read and give a great deal of study to learning and practicing the use of various modalities to be able to assist my clients in finding their path. Within the field of psychology, I have authored papers dealing with relationships and family, as well as trauma. When not seeing Clients, I am a father of two young men who are about to enter into the world. I enjoy singing badly at karaoke and reading fiction novels. In my spare time, I author my own works of fiction and currently have published novels, screenplays, and graphic novels.

My name is Dawn Sheree Paramore, a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health with a Doctorate in Prevention Science, which aligns with my passion for helping individuals heal, grow, and thrive. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, and significant life transitions. My approach is rooted in compassion, evidence-based practices, and a deep understanding of the impact of adversity on mental and emotional well-being. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed techniques to help clients recognize and reframe unhelpful thoughts, manage overwhelming emotions, and develop practical coping skills. Through Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), I support individuals in safely processing difficult experiences, building resilience, and regaining a sense of control and safety in their lives. I also incorporate psychoeducation into my work, believing that when clients understand what they’re experiencing and why, they're empowered to take active steps toward recovery. Whether someone is dealing with the effects of childhood trauma, struggling with feelings of worthlessness, or facing significant life changes like loss, career shifts, or relationship challenges, I walk alongside them with empathy and professional insight. I meet people where they are, offering a safe space to explore their story and rewrite it with strength and purpose. My mission is to help people move from surviving to thriving by providing therapeutic support that is both affirming and transformative. Healing is possible, and I’m here to guide that journey with care, skill, and a belief in every person’s ability to rise.

Are you feeling depressed and anxious? Are you finding your life is in turmoil because you have to make a change? Maybe you are changing careers or jobs, you’re recently divorced, your home is now an empty nest, or you are retiring. These are only a few of life’s transitions that can bring on depression and anxiety. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the therapy I use most often, states that A (Antecedent action or event) + B (our belief about that antecedent action or event) = Consequences, (depression or happiness). If you think of a transition or event (A) as a negative experience (B), you will experience the consequences of your belief, as depression and anxiety (C-negative) or as happiness and excitement (C-positive). Unfortunately, many of us view a transition or change as a bad thing, a time when we are facing the unknown without a map. I would like to help you see change as an opportunity, a time for growth and exploration. Come with me. Together we can make change a positive force for a bright future. please schedule appoints only on the hour.😀

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, proudly continuing a family legacy of service and commitment to helping others. With over a decade of experience, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, home health, outpatient centers, and most recently within a K–12 school system. Throughout my career, I have considered it a true privilege to support individuals during some of their most vulnerable and transformative moments. I specialize in individual therapy and am now opening my practice to teens. My recent experience as a School Social Worker allowed me to provide direct therapeutic services to students across all grade levels, supporting them through anxiety, depression, academic stress, peer and family challenges, and crisis situations. This chapter feels especially meaningful, as I originally pursued my education with the goal of becoming a School Social Worker. In many ways, this transition represents a full-circle moment in my professional journey. I bring the insight, developmental understanding, and collaborative approach from the school setting into my practice, offering teens and their families compassionate, structured, and informed support.

Hi, my name is Candace, but you can call me Candy, You have taken the first and often hardest step in bettering your life by seeking help! Beginning therapy can be scary and people often feel vulnerable when doing this. One of my attributes is to try and make this journey as comfortable as possible for you. I have worked in the mental health field for more than 28 years and have been licensed for 8 years. My vast experience has allowed me to gain knowledge in the many stressors that people may face during their life. . I have been honored by each person that I’ve worked with as they have allowed me a windows view of their life and the issues each of them had. My thought on counseling is that the person seeking therapy and the therapist are a team and work together as a team to identify goals, find solutions and overcome the issues at hand. I have a desire to use my empathetic and compassionate nature along with my experience to help people find and utilize services, coping skills and solutions that will assist them in gaining a better quality of life. I do this by providing a confidential safe and judgment free place for those seeking therapy to discuss their situations and needs. My name is Circe Dunwoody. I am a license psychotherapist. In my psychotherapy practice I help couples and individuals to overcome life difficulties by using cognitive behavior therapy. Many couples and individuals feel overwhelmed by the desire to balance the high demands from work and family life. They report feelings of emptiness and loss of drive. Some report feeling of depression, anxiety and low self-esteem. Others contemplate divorce as a solution to decrease the pressure they are internalizing. You can contact me for help if you are experiencing some of the feelings I have mentioned above, and you are ready to make changes in your life. l work with couples and individuals in a safe and confidential platform environment. In life we all need support and understanding from others. Sometimes the best solution is to seek professional help. Having emotional support is extremely helpful. Relying on friends or family members is also helpful. However, you may not want to overwhelm them with problems. The most intelligent solution is seeking professional help.
