I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. I work with children, adolescents, and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative, structured, and compassionate. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful and lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming and structured conversation focused on understanding what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. I will ask questions about your current concerns, relevant history, and goals for treatment so we can begin building a clear direction together. You’ll have space to share at your own pace, and we’ll collaborate on identifying initial strategies and next steps. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to balance structure with compassion and insight with practical application. I help clients move beyond simply talking about problems by identifying clear patterns, building concrete skills, and creating actionable strategies for change. Clients often appreciate my direct yet supportive style, my ability to quickly identify underlying themes, and my focus on measurable progress. I strive to ensure that each session feels purposeful, empowering, and aligned with meaningful long-term growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals and couples who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change in their lives. I work well with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and stress related to family or career pressures. Many of the clients I serve are high-functioning but feel overwhelmed internally. They are open to reflection, skill-building, and practical strategies that lead to greater emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and increased confidence.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a primary treatment approach for many years with children, adolescents, and adults. I use CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and develop practical coping skills to improve mood, reduce anxiety, and strengthen decision-making. I tailor CBT interventions to each client’s developmental level and often integrate it with trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches. Over time, I’ve seen consistent success in helping clients build insight, resilience, and long-term emotional regulation skills.

Couples Counseling

I have extensive experience providing couples counseling to partners navigating communication challenges, trust concerns, conflict patterns, and life transitions. In my work, I help couples identify unhealthy interaction cycles, improve emotional awareness, and develop healthier communication and conflict-resolution skills. I integrate evidence-based approaches while tailoring sessions to each couple’s unique dynamic and goals. My focus is on creating a balanced, supportive space where both partners feel heard, respected, and empowered to strengthen their relationship.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I utilize Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify strengths, clarify goals, and build practical solutions rather than remaining stuck in problems. This approach is especially effective for clients seeking focused, goal-oriented work around specific challenges. I guide clients in recognizing what is already working, amplifying existing successes, and developing actionable steps toward change. By emphasizing strengths and forward movement, I help clients experience measurable progress in a relatively short period of time while reinforcing long-term resilience.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I am trained and previously certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), which I completed while practicing in Connecticut. I use TF-CBT to support children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, helping them process traumatic events in a structured, developmentally appropriate, and emotionally safe manner. This approach integrates cognitive coping skills, gradual trauma processing, and caregiver involvement when appropriate. Through TF-CBT, I have helped clients reduce trauma-related symptoms, improve emotional regulation, and restore a greater sense of safety and stability.
