Veronica Renderos
Hi, I’m Veronica Ronderos, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland with four years of experience providing telehealth therapy. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and person-centered. I incorporate CBT, REBT, Narrative Therapy, and trauma-informed techniques to meet each client’s unique needs. I also have a growing passion for perinatal mental health, supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the challenges of motherhood. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
Strengths
I bring empathy, compassion, and a genuine commitment to understanding each client’s unique experiences. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and comfortable expressing themselves. My approach balances active listening and emotional validation with gentle challenges and practical guidance. I tailor each session to my clients’ individual needs, helping them gain insight, develop coping skills, and feel empowered to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence.
Origin story
My passion for becoming a therapist began through my own experiences of overcoming challenges growing up. Raised by immigrant parents, I learned the importance of resilience, compassion, and having someone believe in you. The support I received from teachers and mental health professionals inspired me to provide that same hope and encouragement to others. My journey through motherhood, including a challenging pregnancy and NICU experience, has further inspired my passion for supporting women navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood.
