You will want to keep an open mind and learn new coping strategies for your own growth and development regardless of age or life situation.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic therapy is "talk therapy" where we explore how past thoughts, feelings, and memories currently affect your life and personality. You will gain insight about what causes stress, learn to change thought processes and the negative inner dialogue, learn to regulate emotions, and stop unhealthy coping mechanisms. Your work in self-discovery will improve self-esteem and confidence, strengthen your relationships, and improve your ability to manage mental health challenges such as depression and anxiety. I also favor DBT or dialectical Behavior therapy to learn skills in 4 core areas: distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
