With 30 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families, I've had the privilege of helping people navigate life's challenges - whether it's stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, navigating transitions, coping with grief, or addressing health-related concerns. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each individual because I believe therapy works best when it fits your unique needs and life circumstances. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, uncover patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical strategies that help you cope and thrive. My work is grounded in empathy, experience, and a deep belief in people's ability to grow and change. I enjoy helping clients build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and take meaningful steps toward the life they want to live. Whether you are a child struggling with school or social pressures, a teen figuring out independence and identity, or an adult processing life transitions and past experiences of trauma or family separation, I aim to meet you where you are and support you in making changes that feel achievable and lasting. Everyone brings their own story, strengths, and challenges. I'm here to help you use those strengths, gain clarity, and take meaningful steps toward the life you want - one that feels manageable, authentic, and fulfilling.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll spend time getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. You'll have a safe and welcoming space to share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and I'll listen without judgment. Together, we'll talk about your goals, what's been challenging, and what you hope to achieve. This session is about building trust and starting our work together in a way that feels comfortable for you. By the end, you'll have a sense of next steps and a clear understanding of how we can work together to support your growth, coping, and well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my experience across a wide range of settings, working with children, teens, and adults. This allows me to understand the unique challenges and developmental needs of different age groups and adapt my approach to meet people where they are. I bring a compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgmental approach to therapy, helping clients feel safe while exploring challenging emotions and experiences. I am skilled at building strong therapeutic relationships and providing a collaborative space where clients feel heard and empowered. I focus on helping clients develop practical coping strategies, build confidence, and make lasting changes in their lives. My ability to combine experience, empathy, and a strengths-based approach makes me well-positioned to guide individuals and families toward growth and healing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are children, teens, and adults who want a safe, supportive space to be heard and understood. They may be navigating stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or life transitions, including family separations. They value collaboration in therapy and are open to exploring their thoughts, feelings, and patterns while learning practical strategies to cope and grow. I work best with clients who are motivated to understand themselves, build confidence, and make meaningful changes. Many are navigating complex and challenging issues or past experiences that impact their well-being and want compassionate guidance in processing these experiences. Ultimately, my ideal clients share a desire for growth and a willingness to engage in therapy as a collaborative process. They want a space where they can be themselves, explore challenges without judgment, and gain tools that make daily life more manageable, fulfilling, and aligned with their values. I am here to guide, support, and empower clients in discovering their strengths, building confidence, and creating positive change that lasts.
